If we want to change the world, we've got to think of ways to connect to people. Many people won't stop and listen to a dirty hippie, but think about what today's society loves; MEDIA. Movies, music. A movie/documentary I saw that changed my life was Waking Life by Richard Linklater. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243017/And I quote: "They say that dreams are only real for as long as they last. Well, couldn't you say the same about life?" "I was once told that the greatest mistake you can make is to think you're alive when really, you're asleep in life's waiting room." And my favourite: (A woman bumps into a stranger) Hey. Could we do that again? I know we haven't met, but I don't want to be an ant. You know? I mean, it's like we go through life with our antennas bouncing off one another, continously on ant autopilot, with nothing really human required of us. Stop. Go. Walk here. Drive there. All action basically for survival. All communication simply to keep this ant colony buzzing along in an efficient, polite manner. "Here's your change." "Paper or plastic?' "Credit or debit?" "You want ketchup with that?" I don't want a straw. I want real human moments. I want to see you. I want you to see me. I don't want to give that up. I don't want to be ant, you know? Watch the trailer! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk2DeTet98oAnd post your favourites here.

If you have the channel VH1 Classic, they have a documentary on there of Woodstock. That would be a good movie to show today's Society to prove were not "Dirty Hippies" were civilized too, just in a unorthodox way from everyone else.

Only while camping, but I everyone gets a bit dirty roasting in the sun. That was basically my weekend, fun times.

I recently watched Into The Wild. It was a pretty good movie. I liked it a lot. I don't know if you guys have seen it before. Also, I just ordered Woodstock and Woodstock 2. I can't wait for them to get here.

Groovy. And Ast, we all do get a bit dirty most everyday, but Society thinks were more dirty than everyone else because we live outside. And that, to me, makes us cleaner since were always out in the fresh air, and get exercise, and such.

That looks really good, I'll have to see that somehow.
Something I would recommend is watching Seven Ages of Rock. Especially the first episode, it's all about Jimi Hendrix and all the musicians surrounding him.

I think a great movie that almost everyone can enjoy (not to mention a great book) is Tuesday's with Morrie. If you haven't read/watched it.. I advise you to.
As much as a "chick flick" it is, I think A walk to remember is a touching movie as well.
But yeah TWM. AMAZING movie <3

Something I would recommend is watching Seven Ages of Rock. Especially the first episode, it's all about Jimi Hendrix and all the musicians surrounding him. I watch that everytime it comes on. Here's a list of movies to go and watch that are good, and make you have confidence and such. Some of them aren't movies, more like documentary's that are really long. The Karate Kid Series(A little fighting, I know. But it does give you confidence not to be scared.) Rocky Series(A little more fighting, yes, but this also gives you confidence in life. Especially on the parts where Sylvester runs all of Philly. That gave me confidence to never give up.) Woodstock 1 & 2 Heavy: The Story of Metal(All about Heavy Metal music starting with the formula Led Zeppelin and Sabbath set for all bands up until around Slipknot and Marilyn Manson. Not a confidence giver to me, I just like it.) Metal: A Headbanger's Journey(About a guy who travels the World and researches Metal from everywhere. From American Heavy Metal to Black Metal. It's really good. Gave me confidence to know I can travel by myself or just with friends.) The Song Remains the Same(Led Zeppelin concert in Madison Square Garden in, 1972 I beleive. Not a confidence giver for me, it's just really good.)

Hrrm...this may not be interesting to any of you xD
But watching Hotel Rawanda, was really inspirational. I had never gotten into the story of that genocide until I saw the movie.
