Stay away from the AH. And don't spend 700gold on the bear mount like I did because I JUST FELT LIKE IT. I realize now if I hadn't bought it i would be 700 gold close to epic flying. Sigh.

Do the Midsummer Festival quests, each fire you appraise gives you 7g and each one you desecrate gives you 13g

/agree with the above, fire festival is easy money atm, though with alot of running around. Dailies are stupid easy too.
I also farm older low level instances myself. Sell any blues in the AH that are worth anything and vendor all the greens/trash. I usually make 75-100g a run just on that junk.

Since dailies can be boring and a drag.
You could make use of your professions (if you have any) and buy the raw mats (all) from the AH and then sell the crafted item up on the AH. You'll get profit. That way you only spend 15 mins of your time making items, put in AH and wait.
You don't have to spend hours farming when you could be doing other things like level an alt or deal with RL stuff.

Right now, a good way to make some cash is to do the Midsummer Fire Festival. I just finished all the flames between Azeroth, Outland and Northrend and made about 1.2k per toon (I have three I did them on). Yesterday the flames were reset, so two of my characters who did them between Sunday/Monday were able to do them again. (Sadly, my main did it all last year and got caught up in the bug).
Desecrating the opposite faction's fire: ~13g.
Honoring your faction's fire: ~6g.
Being able to do something and gank people in the meantime while watching more episodes of Tears to Tiara: priceless.
