this just a theory of mine so bear with me..
Givin my knowledge and the nowledge posted out their on the web, we can manipulate spirituial energy. (givin that you have the ability to do so.)
So then if one could manipulate spirituial energy then one could more or less harm a spook/spectre/demon/etc etc. givin the fact that they are metaphysical and are more or less manafestations of spirituial energy.
so then does this sound possible to you?
Is there any other theories out there that talk about the same thing?
givin your knowledge, what would be your own theory about such a subject?

I it's possible to protect against them and exorcise them then I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to harm them in some way.

well at least i have one reply.
comon people.
Another thory I've been kicking around would be forging a weapon of some sorts. like a sword made of pure silver. the silver being from crosses that have had susessful exorsisims. although the entire forging process would have to blessed. right down to the quinch tank, the hammer, the fire, and the person who is makeing it.
I could imagine just how it would work on any demonic preasance. Probab;ly would aggravate them or send them away because of the aura on the weapon.
Which makes me wonder..as anybody tried to do such a thing?

Salts meant to be able to hurt or at least hold back spirital beings.
It's been a theory of mine for while some time, I've never been able to test it since I've never come across anything that could be a threat, that it's not so much the thing you use for protection but your own will. If you believe something will protect you then you send you will/aura/spirital power (whatever you want to call it) into that item and give it the power to protect.
Best example of this I can think of giving is Vampires (put all creatures that suck blood in that group for the moment). It's commonly thought that Cross keep them at bay, but if you look around the world at other kinds of vampire they are effected by different (although still Holy items). I don't think it's the item but the belief people have in them to protect them that works against these creatures.
Given this idea it you could manipulate your energy into an item like this and use it to hurt or defened against metaphysical beings.
On the topic of Silver, remember although it is powerful against 'evil' forces like demons, vampires, werewolves etc. it is NOT effective again Fairies or Natural Spirits. You would need Iron for them and some of them can be just as nasty as demons.

It is possible to hurt demon with the simplest things like words ,yet they are professionals at hurting you if they are capable of it. I believe that as much as they can harm you you can fight back

Hmmm, isn't iron spose to have a similar effect as salt when used against a spirit? Or would that happen to be more TV fact blending?
