My favourite's the Overture from Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.
I'm sorry I've not included any live ones, but I only have the studio albums, and there's too many live ones to track down.

Perhaps you could group all the live stuff into one option: "Other live material" ?
I really enjoy Overture 1928 off of SFAM. It was one of the first instrumentals I heard that didn't bore me... one of the first that I really liked. heart

My fav is stream of consiousness. I love the dark brooding feeling of it, and how it also ties into the next track. It has a steady beat to it.

Quote: Perhaps you could group all the live stuff into one option: "Other live material" ? I wish I'd have thought of that. This is the first poll I've ever set up, is it possible to change it? I was a bit rushed when I did this, and didn't get a chance to say why I like the Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence Overture. I love the way that it changes the mood throughout, and the way it builds up and changes and flows back into peaceful stuff again. Stream of Consciousness would be a close second though. It reminds me of the battle music from an old RPG I used to play called Shining Force. It does create a dark atmosphere.

Although it is possible...

I think I'll leave it rather than erasing the results.

Ytse jam. Deffinetly. It's so nice and it's not SO hard to play... Hard as hell, though we can play it somewhat (meaning we can't) so that's why I never get bored in it. 3nodding
