Did you go to college at all?
Annnd well, at least you've got a job. Most people I know haven't even been able to get a job, and they're people that really need one for their kids.
The jobs are becoming scarce where I am.

drinking - yeah that explains it. part time jobs are awesome.
morphine - yes, and no. i have a legal secretarial diploma, but i've never been to a proper college. i did try distance learning twice, but it didn't work for me. i'm applying to university here for next year to do a double language degree, but i doubt i'll get in.
EDIT: yeah, i know i'm lucky. jobs are scarce everywhere. what gets me is that i can't get a job in the field i'm trained in, because i'm the wrong colour. but i won't get into that.

Ahh. When I get outta HS in a year, i'm going to an Adult Learning facility. So it's technically a college since it offers college classes...but not quite...buuut, if I take all those silly classes that are required for classes I can go on to college and just get the degree I want. =3 Bahh, wrong color. Where do you live?

only for the last 18 years... i don't have the money to sponsor myself over, and i don't have any qualifications to persuade an employer to sponsor me. my family overseas isn't close enough to sponsor me (ie they're not immediate family). so basically my only way out of the country is to win the DV or to marry a foreigner, but even then there's all sorts of issues.

Damn o.o...It's too bad you can't just move. Sad how the world is now days and such. We should be free to live anywhere we want.
well you could take the hook approach... Go on vacation to another country and get pregnant and marry a foreigner all at the same time. Anchor baby. =3 Though its kind of a terrible way to do things. xD
I donno. I can't imagine living anywhere but the US...except for maybe Germany. I do love Germany. <3

yeah it sucks.
i don't mind mercenary marriages, but i'm not ready for children.
i want to make it to the US, but the other option is, if i get really desperate, i can get my Irish passport, if my dad gets his. but it's a longshot.
