Yup. I live in Pine Hills near W. Colonial and Kirkman. Anyone here close to there?

I live off of Kirkman. A co-worker of mine lives there. He said when he first came down here people said that he should move to pine hills because its a nice area....yeah like 20 years ago.

I've been here for 10 years. Not a day goes by that there isn't police sirens wailing non-stop, and helicopters circling 'round all night.

Ah, the benefits of living on the South side of Downtown, not West...
Not saying stuff doesn't happen here, but search copters and police sirens? Not so often. I do see Emergency Air Lift Helicopters and Ambulances rather frequently thanks to ORMC a few blocks down, and the Fire Station around the corner serenades you to sleep nightly. sweatdrop
I feel very safe so close to the Hospital and Emergency Response though, so the noise is a trade off. 3nodding

I'd be downright scared to live in Pine Hills. D: I used to go to school over there, and that was awful. And now I work over near there. There have been several times that I've seen police blocking off areas/surrounding someone/etc.

There have been several times that I've seen police blocking off areas/surrounding someone/etc. Yeah, it's all kinds of fun. I used to work at the Subway on Hiawassee and Dorcher, by the Burlington coat factory. I got fired because someone else didn't do their job stressed

I live in Hunters Creek. it's not far from anything due to be really close to all the high ways.
