Ever heard of Dean Koontz? Hes really good, my favorite. His books are horror, mystery, sci-fi type books. Ive read at least 12 of his books if not more.

Platinum_Behemoth252 Read Wheel of Time, Sword of Truth, A Pawn of Prophecy, The Mallorean, A Song of Fire and Ice...and theres some more...let me think... I've read the Wheel of Time series... it was great up until Path of Daggers at which point I think 'ol Jordan began to lose some of his authorial flare. A Song of Fire and Ice was frickin' amazing, Martin is a genius. I just wish he'd hurry up and publish the fourth book (it is on 4 now, right?). I'm curious about The Mallorean, Sword of Truth, and A Pawn of Prophecy... tell me more?

I was about to say I don't like Dean Koontz when I realized I'd never read a single one of his books. For some reason I have a barrier up that I dinnae know about. He's worth checking out, eh?

He's worth checking out, eh? lol, I get that from a few people. One of my friends reads like all the same books as me and we figured we had similar taste in books but even though some of the books he read too were kinda like Dean Koontz books he said he couldnt stand Dean Koontz.... I think his books are worth reading though, and alot of my friends read his stuff too. To me its just verry interesting and the stories will catch me and then I dont want to stop reading. Theres only been like 2 or 3 books Ive read by him that took me more then 3 days to finish cause they didnt intrest me as much as the others ones do.

Ive read at least 12 of his books if not more. ive nvr heard of him myself...whats some books? In my opinion his books would make really good horror/creepy flicks. One of my favorites was about this chinese guy who was brought up in a traditional chinese house and all his siblings went on to be like doctors and lawers and stuff but he didnt and he changed his chinese name to joe when he turned 18 and it starts with him getting his dream car and as hes on his way home wierd things start happening and its accually a wierd creature following him around and trying to kill him and the whole book takes place in about 24 hours. Another book was about a dectective who pisses off a voodoo drug lord type guy and he sends 1 foot tall demons from hell after him. Another is about an author who has some guy after him but the guy looks exactly like him and wants to kill him cause he thinks his life was stolen. The way he writes is verry good, he keeps the stories interesting the whole way through, and alot of his books will have twists and stuff.

I just started reading "When the Sky Fell: In Search of Atlantis."
It's actually pretty interesting. A couple of scientists have expounded on Hapgood's theory of earth crust displacement (which suggests a more radical shift than just plate tectonics) and other bits of fact and theory and myth to suggest that Antarctica is, in fact, the lost continent of Atlantis. It all sounds kind of myth-oriented until you get into the facts, they have made a pretty convincing case so far.
