For the last few weeks I've been dreaming like crazy. Everytime my head hits a pillow I've had a dream, and some nights I've had like five dreams. (Though of course I've actually began sleeping, for a couple months I only slept twelve hours per week.) Well, two out of three dreams have been... musicals. Which, as you can imagine, .. are really, odd. AMAZINGLY ENTERTAINING for the rest of the day to remember, but odd nonetheless.
The first musical dream I had was when I went to sleep after watching The Wizard of Oz.. BUT IT HAD NOTHING TO WITH THE WIZARD OF OZ. well.. it did. Almost. It was Twilight.. (I've never watched Twilight, but the dream was totally based on a commercial I saw lolololol.) It was the Tinman, Lion, and Scarecrow...singing.. and Dorothy.. and they had to push her out of thee way of.. flying, burning cars. IT WAS WEIRD.
The second was actually the grudge .. taking place in Germany, and the entire dream was in German. I remember understanding all of it word for word which when I'm awake I can only understand about 50% of any German I hear... this one was mostly a cross between the Grudge and the Sound of Music. THEN there was one that my mind completely made up, it was really detailed, it was like.. Romeo and Juliet, Corpse Bride, and Edward Scissorhands thrown together.. The only way it was like Corpse Bride is that the two main character's fathers in my dream had the same voices as the father's of Victor and Victoria in Corpse Bride, and I'm pretty sure they sung basically the same song from the beginning of the movie. (Which I haven't watched in months.)
And after I had that dream, the same night, I had a dream about going to school, on a quest for the Wicked soundtrack on a cassette tape... and I was going to get it out of an abandoned locker.. and then a big group of kids in the hall way were like, "GO~ AND HUNT HER~ AND FIND HER~ AND KILL HER~~ KILL THE WITCH!" ... and I proceeded to get a bucket of water thrown at me... (At school we have a bucket we dump chemicals in in Chemistry class when we complete experiments, and we'd just finished an experiment that day with turning Copper Sulfate green by adding carbon dioxide to it.. and well, I guess that was a big part of why that happened in my dream) which lead to me assuming fetal position on the bottom of a staircase... sweatdrop
And last night, was definitely the most epic of them all, to me anyhow. It was SON OF A WITCH as a musical. [/headdesk] It was really weird, because Shell, Elphaba's (The Wicked Witch of the West's) brother, ... was singing Beelz by Stephen Lynch to the music of Wonderful from Wicked. He apparently was Satan, according to his song, and I'm a super nerd and found that hilarious because of the.. book when he's the "Shell of the Unnamed God."
I think I'm on crack guise.
