i say the Caps planted the unruly fans to provoke the Rangers and get their coach ejected.
why were hostile fans allowed so close to the neighbor's box?
why did security do nothing?
the answer is to let visiting teams bring their own security.
with tasers and rubber bullets.
just coz you are paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you!

How is it the fault of the Capitals organization that Tortorella can't hold his temper? He was going to be yelled at, obviously. He was in enemy territory.
There are always rabid, vocal fans of any sports team, anywhere (and most of them are going to be drunk). If you're going to work with a team, either learn to deal with the opposition's fans or just tune them out.
There's no way to justify that insults and innuendo led to a professional coach throwing a water bottle at a paying customer. And there's no reason a franchise should be blamed for the actions of a few boneheads.
...Rubber bullets? Tasers? Seriously?
