Yep, it's Moko here, with your usual latest chapter discussions!
I'm a little early this time, since the scanlation hasn't even come out yet, but I figured it was time to put my Japanese skills to the test. ^w^
I was able to understand most of it, and what I couldn't, I used tangorin to helo me. YAY, TANGORIN!
Anyway, geeeze.
First of all, I'm still wondering what that Reino guy did to Kyouko to make her give him chocolates.
And I wonder what Kyouko got Ren for his birthday.
AND. AND. I REALLY wanna know why she crossed his name off that list!
Whayyyy. We all want to see you give Ren chocolates, Kyouko!
I think she might end up getting it for him anyway, though. Rggh, that chapter was so short!
And they didn't do any progress on that Kanae plot! : (
And Shou in the beginning. I guess (hopefully) we can see some Kyouko/Ren/Shou/Reino action soon! It's a love square-based pyramid!
We'll just have to wait until May 20th to find out!

EDIT: Ok I finally read it. Ugh!! I want to know if she'll give Ren chocolates as well. That facial expression of hers it too complicated. It could mean almost anything: I won't give him friend chocolate (cause Ren is more than that), I won't give Ren chocolates period (because he won't eat them), I want to give Ren something else (maybe??? Like super sized friend chocolate), etc. *sniffle* It really is a long time until the next next chapter.

I loved Kyoko's expression at the end of the chapter.. So conflicted... It makes it so hard to wait though. It's still almost a month away... I'm hoping Ren does get some other gift aside from his late birthday gift though..

Her expression was very complicated! It makes it super hard to tell what she was thinking when she crossed his name off. But on the one hand, it proves how talented the manga-ka is to draw such a difficult expression.
I too hope Ren gets a gift in addition to his b-day gift.

I'm pretty sure he'll get something if she's handing out obligatory chocolates but her face does make you wonder. I would kill for some inner dialogue hints from the grudge Kyokos to find out wouldn't you?! xd

I think her artwork as improved a lot from the beginning. It made it even more nice to see Ren and Sho again.

I love her art -the subtle facial expressions have gotten so amazing - but the background proportions always baffle me. I remember in the kiss-that-never-happened scene in volume 12?, the kitchen was freaking huge! No wonder Kyoko needed a chair (so she could fall down into Ren *please stand by for a short station pause due to wild fangirl squealing*) !
But anyway, I can't wait for cpt 140! I want to know what happens so badly! *silently curses golden week* mrgreen

Ren must be really tall too... He's always the tallest I've noticed? Like a head or two taller sometimes.. Maybe he should try out for basketball.. xD
