 You walk through large wooden double doors flanked by columns and enter a vast, multi-layered building that smells of books. The inside is layed out in a curve, with tables down the centre to the apex of the curve. On either side of these tables are a row of standing height counters holding computers. More tables take up the space between the counters and the walls. A large balcony looms over these tables and you see many spiral staircases leading up to that balcony positioned periodicaly along the wall. There used to be a poetry contest, but I'm not sure if WolfeShade is still doing it. More details once I find out ^^" WolfeShade First Contest!! Write a poem about your first day on Gaia. Nothing extremely long, but I won''t put a limit on it yet. Send it to me via PM, and I''ll put them up in a linked poll and see who wins after two weeks. - I need 3 minimum, and 5 maximum. - Winner will receive 500g. - No swearing or adult content. Some articles I found interesting: F.anjel Backwings Update:3-15-05Everybody wants wings of some sort, yes, and for most folks, the headbands are not enough - they want wings that come out of the back. As of now fairy wings are available. Other backwings will be available later on. It's planned to make them available not as store-bought items, donation items, or rare/uncommon giftboxes, but via the quests system (a planned feature which hasn't been implemented yet).Very few details are known about the planned quest system, but the admins have made it clear that they wish to make backwings important while making them available to a maximum of users (not just people who have been around for a long time). Any threads created saying, "We want/should have backwings." will be recycled. If you want to discuss with other users various types of wings that you'd like to see available when this planned issue is implemented, that'll be okay so long as there are not too many already existing topics on it.
