Becoming Overwhelmed by New Things. Becoming a Member for the first time can be loads of fun but also overwhelming. Having new weapons, training the many skills, haring the new prices. Sometimes you almost feel like the level 3 that has no idea were Lumbridge is, or what in any matter. Discuss: -New Member stories. -What you did your first times as a member. -Why you became a member, or why you haven't. Edit: -Any member noob stories. [Deaths, just plain stupidness or making yourself seem dumb.] Personal: I myself didn't become a member until I was level 76, and had been playing for 4 years. Steadly on the 74 for about 6 months. I was a member for about 6 months until I just got bored of the game and had my parents end the membership. I now play every now and again with my nonmember that is currently 66, sometimes missing members. I was overwhelmed as a first-time member, working on every skill to about 10. Just to get the feel. I avoided buying new things to avoid getting scammed because I didn't know prices. I started EVERY quest I saw, but never finished.

I was about lvl 50 something on tarynds when I first became a member.
I wandered... everywhere. Got lost a lot, and had to try all the skills I couldnt do before. Then I kind of gawked at all the cool members items, I thought mystic robes were so bad a**.

I got members around level 68 or so.
The first day, I didn't know what the hell to do first. I started to try out farming, and while I waited for my crops to grow, I would go back and fourth on the canoe ride from Lumby to Varrock, still not deciding on what to do. :Sweat:

Omg, getting members was like.. 3 years ago.. or 4, i forgot.
I remember trainning my agility level to 20. God it was aweful but for some reason addicting. I got so lost, i didn't even want to ask anyone or be friends with anyone. I remember seeing how less crowded the banks were in fally and lummy. I was like.. "where is everyone?"
I remember playing castle wars. Yes, i played castle wars, but found it extremely boring! (oh, this is on my first account green_ange10. XD
so yeah, two months later made death2thayer and stuck with d2t. >.>' members is so awesome.

I was a member for 2 months first time; didn't play the second.
If I remember correctly, I was level 42 at the time and... I.. Don't really know what I did..
I remember the second month I got on and went to the KQ with my friend first day it was released and we got...
Killed!

Haha I myself loved agility too, but I would always get lost looking for places, and if I found ti wouldn't have the correct level to even enter. I had the same problem, I thought you had to either teleport to Camalot or you had to do that Dwarven Quest. XD ------- But over all it was fun learning. :] And nicely done with the KQ, i had the same story, when I wore jsut desert robes down there. 2 hit KOed. razz

The earliest stats picture I have was a month or so after slayer was released so I can't find out where I stood on stats back then sweatdrop
For the seven (nearly eight) 99s I have, I think woodcutting and HP were my highest stats when I became a member. They were my first stats to 70 (in fact, I think my first three were ranging, HP, and woodcutting, but I'd have to search through my computer to find that out) so I assume my stats were like that. Agility... Who knows... I may love agility even past 99 now, but I hated it back in the day rofl

Edit: Well, I found the picture of my stats when I had 70 ranging... At the time for 70s I had... 70 Ranging, 71 Hitpoints, 71 Fletching, and 73 Woodcutting. Next closest was 69 Strength razz

I was members for about 5 months of my life now. Gonna be 6 maybe this month I think. Was a member at lvl 93 last year. First thing I did, buy obby cape/shield, whip, d long, dds.

I dont remember how long I was playing before I first became a member but I know it was way before slayer came out. I think I was like lvl 54 or something. I remember wandering around ardouge totally lost.

first day as a member, I bought Rune boots and went to castle wars. I also got a rune halberd cuz it was so cool looking

Ex. Went ot KQ with like full rune thinking you could take it alone.
Or You walked into a random cave without caring for the warning sign and died.
