Baagaa's Cheesy Jalapeno Spread (Goldfish Optional!)

I made this super easy, totally vegetarian (but not vegan) appetizer for a party this weekend, and I received compliments on it, so I hope you'll like it too!

Ingredients
1 4-oz. can diced green chiles, drained
1 4-oz. can diced jalapenos, drained (can be more or less, to taste)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 8-oz. packages cream cheese, softened
Flatbread or other crackers
Goldfish crackers

Directions
1. Combine green chiles, jalapenos, mayonnaise, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese in a bowl and mix until smooth.
2. Spread on flatbread (or other crackers) and decorate with goldfish crackers.
3. Enjoy!

Notes
The spread only takes about 10 minutes! Super easy.

I think it tastes better with the added crunch and cheddar flavor of the goldfish grackers, but they're optional.

Fresh Jalapeno peppers can also be diced and used in place of the canned kind; it'd probably take 1-2 peppers, depending on their size and your taste for spicy food. wink

Cheddar cheese or other types of cheese can also be substituted in place of parmesan. The goldfish garnish can also be substituted with shredded cheddar.
