This is something I've always wondered about. Say the two groups were both planning a big convention, but get double booked for the same hotel. Negotiations devolve into pitched combat. Who emerges victorious?

If they diddn't get their weopons checked at the door I'd say the LOTR fans, unless for some strange reason all the star wars fans went as either Jango/Boba Fett or vader, more body armor.
On the other hand the SW fanboys may have taken a few classes in martial arts to, you know, bring them closer to the force, so if it came down to a bare-knuckle brawl I'd put my money on them.
Plus one ring is only one, even if one of them dissapears all those blaster shots which never seem to hit what they're aimed at are eventually gonna clip the little hebbit.
And then the trees would show up...

I meant a bunch of LOTR and Star Wars cosplayers hyped up on sugar, not the actual characters.....but this works too.

Yeah, but LOTR ppl will have real axes and swords, but Star Wars ppl won't have real lasers...unless technology has tken a major leap while I was oversleeping.
