Shocking...I was sketching a character of mine, Sedimentary Rockhound, from two angles - side and front. The side view is fine, but I'm having trouble with the front. Here they are (they're thumbnails; click to make them bigger) : NEW: My sister, who I consider a good artist, thinks the front view looks better without a tail. However, I'd like more input. I had the other characters have their tails to the side from the front, but this character's tail isn't very long, so if she held it to her side, would it even show from the front? Help with that would be loved. I'd also like general CC. Like, what looks good that I should do more of and what looks bad that could I could improve. That's it. Thanks in advance! ...isn't it?

Its adorable, but because of the line that seperated the arms from the body I didn't even realize those where the arms until I looked at it for a while. But, overall its cute, but interesting. To me, personally, the one standing up looks like a totally different creature from the one that is at an angle. Its kind of confusing... D=

Shocking...Thanks, Fishie! Cute is good. I actually didn't peep the arm thing. When I draw her again, I'll keep that in mind.
I don't quite understand the confusion bit. I want to say it's because there are different things on her that can only be noticed from certain angles. You don't see the muzzle from the front and the markings look different from each angle. ...isn't it?

They're really cute ! But I would add a tail but that's just personal. It would look nicer with one. I should draw it to her left. [Just like Pikachu has , I mean at the same place not the same tail.] And for everything else , I wouldn't now I'm not that good at animal-ish things. BUT I would make the lines of the same thickness everywhere , even inside but that's just because I likes lines better that way. xD So it doesn't really matter if you would that or not. Just a personal thing again I suppose. >3< click for pikachu

Shocking...I've updated this. I see no votes, so I don't think anyone saw the update. I'd still like input. ...isn't it?

The tail is cute. Keep it. Although, you could try other types of tails. Like a fox or lion or cat tail. ^^

I think you need to make the line above the nose(snout) into a full circle shape. Or extend the neck lines into the bosom.
