Woo! I'm not sure where yet, but hey I've been accepted to 3 colleges out of the 4 I applied to so far! (havent heard back from the 4th yet)
I've gotten into University of the Arts, MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), and Towson University. I really wanna go to either UArts or MICA...UArts is in Philadelphia, and MICA is in Baltimore...and theyre both SUPER freaking expensive. But then there's Towson...its pretty cheap and a really cool college. I really wanna go to an art school though, since I got into them and didn't think I would...plus they're really good art schools. UGH
I HATE DECISIONS I HATE MONEY ...AND MY LACK OF IT GRRR

I remember getting a lecture from my counselor because I applied to 4 colleges.
You know what happened?
I got pissed off from the constant lecture of "You don't need to apply to so many, only send in one." and threw all the forms in his face, not literally, and walked out, saying ******** it and that it wasn't worth my time anymore.
o.o
YAY KAAAAIIIIII

Woo! It is a rough choice, but personally I'd put money totally aside unless it's absolutely positively blocking you. Check out the school's financial aid before you decide. [Chopped up underwear] I remember getting a lecture from my counselor because I applied to 4 colleges.

WTF? We had 3 applications by default, and some people had like 6 or 7... If I didn't have at least 2 I would've been screwed, because I had 2 majors, one of which I really wouldn't have liked.

CONGRATS! College decisions are hard but most people end up in the perfect place even if it wasn't their original choice.
Money is always a problem. xP

Dudesss I know people who applied to like 8 colleges hahah...but they are the crazy people.
One college is not enough in my opinion, you have to have at least one backup.

It's not unheard of for people to apply for 15-20 colleges at my school. xD
One of the people who I can think of right now has gotten into 12 colleges, wait listed for one. She applied to 15 I think. Last year, one person got something like 14 scholarships.
I'll probably send in stuff for 7 or 8.
But anyways, congrats. :3

Late, but congrats!
I only applied to two schools, but I got into both. (I really wanted this one, I just had another as a backup)
What's the status on the 4th??

Congrats Kai! : D You could always apply for students loans if you really need the money. Like, they suck in the long run 'cause they never seem to end, but they're helpful.
I'm putting off thinking about college/uni by doing a victory lap at my school, but everytime I hear others talking about it I get anxious. >.<

Congrats on getting into college Kai. I graduated in 2008. I've been looking for work ever since. I wish you luck and hope that you'll find employment sooner than I will.
I don't know how similar your college campus is to mine but there might be a lot of open positions that theyoffer to students. I worked in the library of my college. It might not pay over minimum wage but it gives you a steady flow of income and often works around your class schedule.
