I posted this in the writing arena, too. I think this needs a new title; any ideas?

Pride

What did you think?
Did you think I’d fall in love
Because you smiled at me?
Did you think I’d change my world
Because you spoke to me?
What makes you think that
I’ll follow you forever?
Because I know you don’t see me
As anything other than
Something to change
And I’ve got to much
Pride to that.

Not THE strongest poem I've ever read. But still pretty good.

The last line did you mean "Pride FOR that" otherwise it doesn't make much sense.
