There's this guy I like, but he's giving me mixed signals. Here's a summary of the past school year.
Note: we're in one class period together, out elective wheel. He's one grade above me. The wheel is woodshop, engineering, and then art. We're going to be in art next week.
Woodshop
* He helped me with my shop project when I got stuck
* He asked me who I liked
* I overheard his friend (best friend) saying, "That's her? That's who he likes?"
* He stood behind me when we were finishing our shop project
Engineering
* He then got a girlfriend (with a locker near mine), and PDAs every lunch.
* He looks at me when he's hugging her
* He looks at me from across the room during class
* I overheard him saying, "She looks at me the WHOLE period. Dude, it's freaky." But I don't know if he's talking about me
* He voted for me when we did a project
* When we were switching seats, he went to the table next to mine
* He went to stand by me when we were standing in line
* He never talks to me, at all
So did he like me, then stop? Or does he like me? Or does he not? Guys can post, I want their opinion too.

You're on the border of the friend zone. Which means, he might like you, but will easily be pushed over to only wanting you as a friend.
As for looking at you while he's hugging his girlfriend -- do you really want a guy like that as a boyfriend?

hm. look, i don't mean to be offensive -- but he doesn't like you.
if he does, then great! but his signals are pretty negative about that. remember, boys are not girls. boys are boys. boys have different ways of expressing themselves -- not even counting each individual.

I suggest that you find out what type of martial arts he likes if you haven't already. I'm a huge martial arts fan and it annoys me to death when people confuse the martial arts I'm taking with some other martial art. Also, if you're going to learn Martial Arts yourself, I suggest something other than Taekwondo. Twaekando is much more flashy stuff than anything else. Aikido might be good though.

I think he doesn't like you, but he just cares about your opinion. That's how we, 'we' being the group of friends I have, 3 girls, 1 guy, met the second guy who joined our group. Jen thought he liked her, and was going crazy about it. So, when we asked him, he said he just wanted to know what we, not just her, all of us, thought about him and what he did.
I think that might be the case, maybe you should get a friend to ask him what's up. it helps, but be careful about it, okay? Anything could happen.
