For anyone who collected all the G-reports in FFVII: DoC and earned the hidden ending is it not safe to guess they plan on yet another addition to the compilation? I mean that was definitely a pretext to some insane stuff going down. So what are your thoughts?

They will remake the game first. Then, they will make the sequel. It'll be FFVII-2.
