I play the trumpet in an intermediate class. But all of a sudden, today my band teacher forced me to switch to a baritone! I sucked at trumpet but I'm really good at baritone. At first i hated the pitch of the baritone because its so low, but eventually I got used to it. Apparently I'm "naturally talented" but I really miss my trumpet! Should I be happy or scared?

Really wish I had natural talent with something.

Just because you play baritone now, doesn't mean you have to give up trumpet forever, if you feel like you miss trumpet, then do an extra solo for solo & ensemble for fun! Don't give up baritone if your good at it

i had the same thing happen to me. i was switched from trumpet to french horn, but i'm better on horn(which i have been playing for 4 months) than i am at trumpet(5 years). i still play trumpet for church sometimes though.
