Well I'm just a little curious. lol.
As for me I'm learning it right now! =]
I didn't get very far. I'm in Japanese1. And I just got to learning Katakana. I finished my Hiragana section and learned some particles, hobbies, family structure, food, tenses, and much more. lol.

I can speak Japanese, but only up to what a middle schooler in Japan can level. I can write Hiragana and katakana but only a few Kanji. 3nodding

Not sure what level academically in Japan I'm quite at... I suppose I can speak at a high school level and read and write at about a middle school level at this point.
I'd say I'm pretty proficient since I survived just fine while I was there for six months without a hitch~

I'm learning Japanese right now. I think I'm at about a preschool level T.T I think I know more of the written japanese then the spoken. Most of the words I know in japanese I learned from anime lol.

I have learned Hiragana and can read and write it and I am practicing my Katakana right now. I know how to say things like how are you? What time did you wake up? What time did you go to bed? What did you do summer break? (this are some things I am learning right now) I am still at elementary lv in Japan. Process of learning more elementary lv Japanese.

I finished Japanese 12 last year in school and wrote the Provincial Exam (Yeah, I'm Canadian 8D! ) and got 97% on it, overall I got 96%, I can understand a decent deal but not enough to get me by (maybe) I'll probably freeze up in reality xd Not enough practice these days...

I guess I speak it well. I took the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) level 2 and I'm pretty sure I passed. I find out in one more week (^^;;
But yeah...I translate for Abercrombie and Fitch so hopefully I speak it well (^^;;

I know the basics, a few random phrases, and scattered hiragana/katakana. Enough for a broken conversation. xD But I'm teaching myself.

Whao cool. I work at Target 8B I don't see any Japanese whatsoever where I am unless I'm envisioning the word ''idiot'' on my coworkers heads. x) kute kitty kathy I guess I speak it well. I took the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) level 2 and I'm pretty sure I passed. I find out in one more week (^^;;
But yeah...I translate for Abercrombie and Fitch so hopefully I speak it well (^^;;

lately i havent spoken or read it so grammar and all that other crap screws me over D: but yes i can :3

ME!ME! Count me in! I already learn hiragana and katakana..and now I'm learning about sports,family and others..I also bought dictionary to improve my Japanese language..but mostly i learn the words from anime.. 3nodding
