As for raising money for Nippon, I would suggest doing a variety of things.
1) Look at scholarships that would assist you.
2) Good at something? Sell it, let people know what it is for!
3) Do you have a sister city in Japan? Do you have a committee? The committee will help you raise money.
4) Ask money for your birthday instead of gifts.
5) Let your relatives and friends know your going! Maybe your Mom will throw you a party and you can get money that way as Bon Voyage gifts!
you could talk to the right people at your school for a trip next year
