I bought Pokèmon Diamond yesterday. (Silly, I know. =P) I've always loved Pokèmon and played it since I was seven.
I thought Pokèmon Diamond looked really nice. It's by far my most favourite Pokèmon game 'till now. Second is Silver and third Blue, since I only have those games.
What's your favourite Pokèmon game and what do you think of Pokèmon Diamond and/or Pearl?

That's not silly...
My favorite is Silver, and I think Pearl and Diamond are great, and the many new things added were grand... The only thing I am having difficulty with is the change in art style they are using for new Pokemon, I perfer the older style...

Pokemon Diamond is a really great game. Very in depth, cool worlds, nice Pokemon, and awesome backwards compatibility. Wifi online is a huge plus.
...And my favorite game of the series is Pokemon Yellow.

Pearl and Diamond are awesome. biggrin And I agree with Evalad... the new art style for the Pokemon isn't as good as the old ones. I'm totally hyped about Platinum. X3
I love the Pokemon games. My favorite Pokemon game is Blue. It was my first Pokemon game ever.

Here is my final Pokemon idea...
Right now, I just want them to stop making new Pokemon. Not new games, but stop making new Pokemon. There are too many of them, and a lot of the newer recent additions are pretty useless and not creative.
...So here is my plan: Make a huge Pokemon DS game, with all the Pokemon. But only have two worlds. One Kanto world, and one brand new world for exploration. Also, include Wifi, the ability to catch all Pokemon, and backwards compatibility with the other games.

That sounds like a totally good idea to me. I don't want them to make new Pokemon... I can't even remember the names of all the 3rd gen let alone the 4th gen... If they had one huge game with all of them I would love that.

If they had one huge game with all of them I would love that. Yeah, I would like that. Many people are saying that it'd be impossible, but I think it's quite possible. I'm tired of seeing new lame Pokemon being created, and I just want them to end it once and for all, with a bang. One last game. Not to mention, the Pokemon show has really gone downhill.

Yeah, I'm sure a game like that is doable. They just have to make it happen. Besides... you CAN obtain all of the Pokemon in D/P/Pl so it can't be too hard to make them all catchable in one game. And they have already updated the Kanto world once with Fire Red and Leaf Green, it wouldn't hurt to do it again and make it 3-D this time. All they have to do is look at what they have done previously and re-work it all. It'd take some time but it's better than them making crap.

Well yeah, in the latest games (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum), all Pokemon are obtainable, but you can't get most in legit ways, and you certainly cannot catch everyone. ...I think it's doable to catch them all, but it will be tough to spread them out. For instance, there are only so many patches of grass and cave space and water, etc. to spread around the species of Pokemon, to catch them in fair probabilities.

True... I was tempted several times to use my brother's Action Replay... but decided against it every time.
That is very true. Seeing as there are 493 Pokemon if you include Darkrai, Shaymin and Arcius... you would need a huge map and there are so many legendary Pokemon that there would be a ton of caves and other special places if they were all to have their own separate nesting grounds. Maybe Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh can all be on one huge map or something? That game would be an obsession for me... And what team would be the main antagonist? Rocket because they are the original? Galactic?

Based on my idea, I think that you should be your own protagonist, with a pokemon of your choice following you on the screen (one of the four generations of starters, or Pikachu). Also, the antagonist should be a legion of the Team Rocket, Aqua, Magma, Galactic, and other enemies.

I would love to have a Pokemon follow me on the screen again. I miss that about Yellow. The antagonists being all of them would be great. biggrin Geeze. Now I wish this were a game some day. It'd be so interesting.

It'd be so interesting. Yeah, that's a great attribute to the Pokemon games. Having a Pokemon follow you around. You can do it briefly, only in that one park in Pokemon Diamond...But nothing beats traveling with Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow. So original and cool. Pikachu also acts, and has facial expressions.

Yeah, that was great. I heard you could get him to have a bucket on his head if you go through a series of things... "PIIIIKAAAA!" To be able to do that with only your starter would probably be more than enough. To give those expressions every Pokemon would probably be a bit much to ask... but at least they could have them follow you around! Now that I think about it... they already have the sprite for every single Pokemon when you open the menu to see what Pokemon you have in your party.
