This is a bit late, but I guess I should post it anyway.
See, what happened was, a bunch of Koreans got butthurt 'cause they found the Korean hetalia character offensive because it made fun of them. I'm not sure if they noticed that making fun of different countries is the general idea of Hetalia, and they make fun of ALL countries, but whatever. Sot they decided to make this petition which somehow managed to get 16,000 signatures (apparently a lot of people were offended by a moe gag manga) and suddenly the KIDS channel (why is this show on a KIDS CHANNEL ANYWAY) where Hetalia was supposed to be aired chickened out. The anime will still be available online and on the Animax mobile service in Japan, so don't worry! You can still see it smile I hope it gets licensed...it's really cute.
