I'm excited about skin trade through I'm sad Anita is leaving town for this book. Means we'll be seeing less of our regular characters.

Really? She's leaving town again? She just went to North Carolina with Jason. That's not to say that I didn't love Blood Noir because I did (since Jason's one of my favorites), but I miss Micah and I really miss Jean Claude.
I have no idea how long Skin Trade is going to be. I haven't heard anything about it other than it's due out around June or so of this year.

I'm really really excited about this book even though she's leaving town again, There is rumors that is will be all about Edward and her again and Edward is my favorite character by far.

Yeah on her newer blog entries she's saying stuff like "900 pages and still not done" I'm super excited because this book sounds like another Obsidian Butterfly and thats my fave book, and Edward is awesome, though I've also heard the Olaf is supposed to be back in this one too and that's a bit of a scary thought.

Yes Olaf is rather scary... but he's such an interesting character as well.
And as far as Edward....yay. He is definately one of my favorites. My favorite human for sure. But then, that kind of lessens it. It's hard to compare him to the others. Wouldn't want to call him my absolute favorite. But then he is so kick-a**.
Ahhh I'm confused.

okay this is what i have found on skin trade (note i got this information from someone on anitablakewiki.com)
Skin Trade
Book 17 comes out June 2, 2009!
The book starts with Anita getting a head in the mail at her office.
She's going to Vegas!
Edward, Olaf and Bernardo are coming along . . . . don't know how or why. . . . yet.
She depatizes them, cause who doesn't want a phycotic killer with the force of the law hehind him? LOL
She has sex with one of these guys( or maybe Peter or Haven) and LKH has established that Anita's newest guy is A) someone she hasn't been with yet, and B) a guy who has appeared in the series prior to this.
This is all I know . . . it's not much but as the releas date gets closer there should be more info.

Looking forward to seeing Edward again, in more of a role than he was in The Harlequin. Yeah. . . jeez, give them something to shoot!
I'm beginning to wonder if Van Cleef will ever show up. Or is it going to be really Marme Noir to pick up the ultimate baddy in this series??

kay so everyone knows skin trade came out yesterday ...
i bought it, i stayed up till 4 in the morning reading it, and I LOVED IT!
though crying it only has 486 pages not 900. it should have been 900 pages.
