Final Fantasy-2001 Release

Story: Play as Tidus in the land of Spira. Aid the guardians as they travel and protect Summoner Yuna as she travels to gain strength against the entity known as 'Sin' who appears very 10 years. Along the way you'll meet countless allies as well as foes.

Battle System: Random battles everywhere-except when you're in towns/cities of course. Random battles and boss battles are turn based-there's a box that displays the order of turns coming up. This can aid in deciding your next move.

Three characters fight at a time, but characters can be exchanged during battles.

Summonings, as always, with the FF series but can only be used by Yuna.

Characters:

Tidus-The famed blitzball player of the Zanarkand Abes. When 'Sin' attacks during one of his matches his adventures begin...He's quick to jump into action which can sometimes lead to trouble for the group.

Personal Opinion: At times he gets on my nerves, but he's a nice guy.

Yuna-The lovely and quiet spoken summoner. She travels with her guardians on a pilgrimage that will lead to a final battle with 'Sin.'

Personal Opinion: What she lacks in her own physical strength is made up for with her healing abilites and summons.

Auron-The oldest and strongest of the group. He knows more then he lets on.....

Personal Opinion: I think there's rarely ever a time that I don't have him in the group-he kicks butt!!

Wakka-Another blitzball player, and he's also the captian of the Besaid Aurochs.

Personal Opinion: Sometimes I get sick of his voice....

Lulu-The sexy black mage of the group. She uses dolls to attack-they also mimic her movements when she casts spells.

Personal Opinion: I still wonder how she doesn't pop out of her top when she bends down..... O_o

Rikku-The happy little Al Bhed thief of the group and also Yuna's cousin.

Personal Opinion: She's just so adorable and funny! >.<

Kimahri Ronso-Yuna's first and most faithful guardian. He's actually quite small for his race, but he has the strongest of hearts.

Personal Opinion: I think Kimahri is awesome, but I hardly ever use his if battle...too slow.

Music: Lovely music that matches the atmosphere of the environments well.

Rate: 10/10

Final Fantasy-2003 Release

Story: Welcome back to Spira......two years have passed since the ending of FFX. This time around you'll explore as Yuna who has viwed a sphere that holds a young man who looks awfully familiar. With on this journey are Rikku and a new character, Paine. There are many new faces to meet, but also some old friends.

Battle System: Random battles remain like before however......

Now you'll fight in 'real time' instead of a turn base and you'll only have Yuna, Rikku, and Paine for your party (go girl power-lol).

To make up for the lack of party members the girl have dress spheres and garmit grids. These items can be found throughout the course of the game (some during the regular story line while others are found during little side adventures). The dress spheres are placed on the garmit grid and during battle, following the grid path, the girls can transform into a different dress sphere.

Also-there are these 'ulimate' type dress spheres (one for each of the girls). To activate these you'll have to go through all the dress spheres on the garmit grid that that character is using. Basically the less dress spheres there are on the grid the faster you get to your 'ulimate' form. Finally-there are two items each for each of these 'ulimate' dress spheres that you'll have to find in order to unlock some special features about them.

Oh-and one final not about the dress spheres....the girls can either share the same grid and d-spheres or different ones.

Characters:

Yuna-Now that 'Sin' is gone....what is a former summoner to do? Dress up in a more revealing outfit and go sphere hunting of course!!

Personal Opinion: I don't care much for this new Yuna.....bring me back my summoner!!

Rikku-Still silly and adorable......but her outfit has also become more revealing.

Personal Opinion: Still love her!!

Paine-She acts tough but she's extremely loyal to her friends.

Personal Opinion: She has some funny lines in the game-usually when they're directed at Rikku. I also want to know how she does her hair like that.....not that I could pull that style off.

Music: Nice music as in the first game....probably because not much has changed.

Rate: 7/10

It was a decent first sequal for a FF game. I have my own complaints but may reveal some spoilers about the game so I don't want to ruin for those that want to play it.

One this I did like was the 'New Game +Plus' After completing the game you can start a new game and keep all the grids, dress spheres, items, and the percentage of game completetion. The % part of the game leads to what type of ending you'll get to the game-regular, semi-happy, & happy.
