It was pretty classless by the few Titans players who did that. Yet Jeff Fisher responded in a classy and veteran way, saying that it wouldn't fire up the Steelers any more, because they already play at full potential. But can you blame them? They really crushed the Steelers in that game, earlier this season.
I see them both moving on, to face each other in the AFC Championship game in Tennessee, and I predict the same result, except a much closer game.

The terrible towel is more than just a towel, it defines Steelers. Just like the cheeseheads from greenbay. They literally stomped all over the franchise! [That is how I feel and probably most steelers fans]. Your obviously a giants fan..what if giants lose big time and the opposing players had a logo of the giants and started stomping all over it? maybe something like that? Did they deserve that? no? It's not very classy. Not very good sportsmanship either..Lets try to remember, Jeff Fisher wasnt the one who stomped all over the towel

i thought that it was totally uncalled for. not only does the towel represent the franchise, but it is also the legacy of the great myron cope who was truely loved and admired by the fans of pittsburgh. also, the proceeds of the towel have raised millions of dollars towards a school in pittsburgh for the physically and mentally disabled.
i can see why other fans don't understand why this is a big deal, but the towel means way more than just rallying the crowd and it is very disrespectful in my opinion to do that.
also, the titans decided after stomping on the towel that they would create their own.... so i guess they were just jealous we had a better idea than them (http://www.titanscodeblue.com/)
ps rio kid your sig is awesome.

Don't care if the Titans stomped on it. Hell I don't care if Brett Farve doesn't return anymore ,and I don't care if the Niners have another losing season.
The Titans stomped on the towel cause the team saw a bunch of Steeler fans at their stadium.

I thought it was stupid. Shows no class what so ever, I had no beef with the Titans but then they just gave me a reason too. There's no class, even if they are not my team I still think it is immature.

Not Jeff Fisher. Not the veteran players. Not the Titans organization. Just a few classless players. Also, how do you know they weren't provoked? The game was being played in Tennessee. How the hell did a Terrible Towel end up on the Titans sideline? A fan probably threw it there, and out of rage, the couple of players decided to make idiots of themselves. They probably got caught up the moment, and I believe they were home underdogs in that game as well. And yeah, I'm a Giants fan. If they were playing that badly and the same thing happened to us, then yes, I'd be pissed off and a bit disrespected, but I wouldn't condemn the motives.
