Hamsters are smaller, cuter and smarter. The only real advantage a guinea pig has is that it can purr. (which is pretty cute)

I am gonna have to say guinea pig;;
Because i used to have 2 guinea pigs but when me and my family moved i had to give them away and they were awsome.
I have a hamster now and shes a bit of a pain. Guinea pigs are alot more social unlike hamsters that when you hold them they won't stay still usually and run around and try to escape. When i had my guinea pigs i was able to feed them carrots and lettece and they would eat it right in front of me. But my hamster won't, she will only do it in her cage and when she is away from us.
So...GUINEA PIGS ARE BETTER!
