are vampires too corny, I think it could be fun. Set in the middle ages or possibly in ancient Greece or Rome or something.

While vampires may be cliche'd they are also ver amusing. Maybe you could pair them with other creatures of the night like werewolves, trolls, etc...
Humans are also fun to mix in because they always try to be with the vampire.

Okay heres an idea of mine I made just a few minutes ago! 
Mio fell from the sky,her wings folded back and hidden.She fell into a bush,unconscious and scratched up.She was an archangel and was sent down to earth to watch over a human.So she jumped down and fell from heaven.Then her eyes opened and she sat up.She looked around then stood up and straightened out her dress and hair,pulling out twigs. "Ok now its time for me to find that human." she said softly then walked down the street,looking around at the buildings in awe. "Oh my everythings so big here,I hope I can find who I'm looking for."

Vampires are waaaay overdone. Especially in recent days; it's just a fad now. Why spend the effort when you can find those RPs all over Barton Town?
Something versatile would be nice, where you can just jump in and do whatever.
Usually these RPs are just restricted to "hey, you're a mobster." Or "Hey, you're a vampire."
"Hey, youre this and this and this."
I like stuff where you can pretty much toss in any character you want and it'd still make sense.

But Barton Town sucks, anyway. =x Vampires are all the same copycat stuff. Maybe that's a reason why they're annoying. Once you've seen Bram's version, you've seen them all. I know it annoyed me. And when something does, instead of complaining about it, do it better.
I did. I love my vamps. They're far more human than a lot I've seen.
Teh Missy Potter Girl: Yes. It is. Everyone seems to want a school with every known race to mankind. Or elemental. One of the easiest plots you can do.
I don't think all those races together make sense, honestly. In a school setting. In a fantasy setting, where they all have their own roles and they're not lumped together for the hell of it, sure. Even just having two different races schooled together can cause problems. All of those...I can't imagine the chaos.

i agree with the whole vampires are over used thing. personaly i like using neko's or half dragon humans even the occasional werewolf... i'd say do a role play about somthing less popular right now like elves, withc/wizard, or somthing along those lines... maybe a harpie but personaly i'd love to see a story about Sleipnir. but when you can't think up somthing it's always fun to make somthing new by crossing two old things...

Eh i would suggest some sort of doomsday scenario where all the races of myth and legend includeing human must stop an overwhelming army of evil.

Here lately I have been thinking of making a Gundam RPG but I'm not sure if anyone else is into gundams at this time. My idea is to have somewhere between 5 and 9 starting Gundam suits that would have pilots trained to use them the others that join in would control a standard mobil suit and as the story progresses the more gundams get manufactured. There would also have to be the diplomates that are trying to negotiate peace durning the battles that occur.
