The Story This is the story of a family. A family of just a bunch of teenagers who lost their way. It all began with the stange and secluded Chandlice legacy which lived in an Old Victorian Mansion on the Outskirts of town. They had six children they adopted for experimental purposes. None of them were related by blood. They adopted three boys and three girls. All with differing personalities. They experimented on the children and later killed themselves. The kids were left alone. Now they are teenagers who attempt to live a normal life in a normal town. Until....they began to realize they had the ability to turn into ghosts. This is their story of love loss and a search for normalcy...

The Girls Breathe Me: Arabella Dahlia Chandlice Call Me: Baby-Doll The Doctor said: It's a Baby Girl I Was Born: I was the first born, I am the Oldest, Just Turned 17 It's My Pursuit of Life: I was born first and I like to forget Mom and Dad. They were crazy. Like those scientist you see on TV only real. I was their first adoption. They used me as a rough draft. They tried and tried to mutilate me. When that didnt work, they locked me away. I learned secret passages in our home. I found a Ballroom with wide glass windows and a grand piano. I learned music and ballet and that's all I've really known. Now, I am trying to attend a normal HighSchool and still look after my younger sisters. They arent blood, but they are family. Give It To Me: ballet, music, singing, love, boys, colors, reading, parties and vodka, outdoors, rain and sunshine, swimming, laughing, talking, long books Take It Away: being sober, being alone, facades, anyone who can hurt me Shh. Dont Tell: I can fly, turn invisible, and I have only half a heart beat. When They See me: Breathe Me: Chloe Monet Chandlice Call Me: Coco or Monet The Doctor said: Chickadee I Was Born: Second, I am the Middle Girl It's My Pursuit of Life: Like everyone else, I wasn't always part of the Chandlice family. In fact, I did have a mother and father of my own... But, I didn't like them, and they didn't like me either, and they made that very clear. I was originally born Hikari Ayumi Nakano. My mother and father said that at a young age, I expressed the potential to be great... If only I'd keep my mouth shut. They said I was too smart for my own good, and if I would speak, I would get beaten. Especially my mother... I think she was jealous. At the age of seven, I ran away from home and kept running until I found an old abandoned shack by the coast, where I stayed until the cops got a complaint and found me, turning me into an orphanage. I changed my name there to Chloe Monet, not taking on any name that could possibly be related to my old one... and I was adopted at the age of eight by the Chandlice's, who took me in. When they figured my potential of thought, they rejoiced, and began to probe at me for answers to questions I had never been asked before, and yet I knew them. I gave them good ideas for experiments, which they would conduct on me, and if I was good enough, they would allow me to play music. I learned guitar, piano, and violin within my first year of being there. When they died, a part of me died too... They were my parents... And they embraced my genius. Give It To Me: Colors, sweets, books, music (I play guitar, piano, and violin), writing, singing, dancing, rain, snow, scarves, open fields, adventuring, afternoon naps, tea, walking, dogs, and starry nights. Take It Away: Raw onions, garlic cloves, hot weather, when people tell me I'm too smart for myself, when I'm told to shut-up, controlling beings, bullies, pessimism, and girls who think they have to be stupid to get anywhere in life. Shh. Dont Tell: I have retractable wings that enable me to fly, I can make people see what I want them to see, and I can heal abnormally fast. When They See Me: Call Me: Rosa Chandlice The Doctor said: Female I Was Born: last, I am the youngest girl It's My Pursuit of Life: Our mother and father were psycho. They were completely nuts, and I had to deal with being neglected. They locked us away in seperate chambers and we had to go days without food, all part of some sick experiments. I guess those experiments finally went to their heads, because they decided to leave us alone, to kill themselves so that they didn't have to live with what they had done. The shame is that they had just started to treat us more and more normally, but then they killed themselves. My brothers and sisters and I, only a week after their deaths, discovered something very peculiar. We found that we are able to willingly turn into ghosts, and go to the ghost realm. I've made many friends there, but I still have to go to a reguar human school. Now, my heart beats only half of the time. Give It To Me: Color, Romance, Love, Reading, Writing, Music, Life Take It Away: Experiments, Death, Horror films, Blood Shh. Dont Tell: I can walk through walls, fly, turn invisible, and I know all of the secret paths of the house. When They See Me: [/ Ghost Boys Call Me: Lye, Vlad, Dad The Doctor said: Male I Was Born: First, 17 It's My Pursuit of Life: I was the first boy to be adopted, and immediately I was the trouble maker. I kicked, screamed, fought, tried to run away, call the cops, everything. Perhaps the best day of my life was the day that our 'parents' died and we were found. Ever since I just became the protector of the family, anyone who I deemed a threat ended up beaten to a pulp. To outsiders of the family, I seem to be a violent nut, trying to keep my family isolated. To the family, though, they see what I really do and appreciate it. And although some of my actions aren't exactly savory, I have always told my family that my ends justify my means. Some of my family started calling me Dad seeing how as I pretty much took that role, getting money (no matter how), protecting the family, discipline, you got it. Give It To Me: Garlic, girls, adrenaline, my family, girls, music, girls, reading, and did I mention girls? Take It Away: Memories, outsiders to the family, being associated with their 'parents', being reminded I can't fly Shh. Dont Tell: I can turn intangible, hover (not fly), abnormally strong and fast When They See Me: LyeBreathe Me: Isaac D. Lockhart Call Me: Isaac, Skittles boy The Doctor said: Male I Was Born: second, 16 (Almost 17) It's My Pursuit of Life: My life was wonderful until I turned 6. When I was 6 my parents got into a car accident. My mother was dead on the scene but My father was rushed to the hospital only to die two days later. All I have from my real parents is a locket with a picture of my mom, my dad, and me. After then I got stuck in an orphanage then got adopted by those monsters. At least I had other kids there. Give It To Me: Chocolate, My electric guitar, My laptop Take It Away: Mean people, People who hurt other people Shh. Dont Tell: I have a thing for Snakes When They See Me: [/

Baby-Doll stood in the basement of the house, still not knowing what brought her down here. She stared at the machines, and and still felt the cold bite of the metal tables she was laid across when she was little. It was in looking around this room she realized why everyone in town shunned this house. The screams, the flashing lights in the basement, it probably did seem like a very haunted place. With a sharp turn, she took off up the stairs.

_Tales of a Teenage Carousel_ Help, I have done it again. I have been here many times before. Hurt myself again today. And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame. Chloe could hear the footsteps echoing throughout the house of her older "sister", Bella, as she liked to call her. After all, she did believe the girl was beautiful, and what better way to comment on it but by calling her Bella. As she listened, she heard the steps hurriedly rushing up the stairs, and she, herself, walked toward the basement to meet up with the girl. "Bella, what are you doing? Is everything alright?" she asked in a small, soft voice, a slightly worried look on her face. She always worried about Bella... The girl had gone through loads of abuse by the Chandlice's... It was no surprise... After all, through extensive experiments, they had all, in turn, gone through more abuse than their teenage bodies should have been able to handle, and yet, all six were still there.

Baby-Doll looked at Coco startled at first. Then she sighed. "Yeah I-um I'm fine. Just looking around I guess. I guess the Chandlices are being cremated right this moment. The people took their bodies this morning." she said. And even as she spoke, she felt like her voice was very far away and distant. "I suppose I'll go to the Ballroom to practice." she said atlast.Slowly she made her way behind one of the long Hall mirrors and down some stairs. Then she found herself climbing from beneath a loose tile in the Ballroom. The bright light from the windows startled her and she had to almost squint her eyes. She walked oover to the stereo she had set up and played "The Call" by Regina Spektor and began to point her toes.

_Tales of a Teenage Carousel_ Help, I have done it again. I have been here many times before. Hurt myself again today. And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame. Chloe nodded in understanding, and watched as her sister walked off and down the hall behind one of the mirrors. When she couldn't see Bella anymore, she turned her head back to the basement and sighed, turning away and walking off toward the front door, where she exited the house. So many years of pain and torture, and yet so many happy years. She couldn't help but feel a mix of sadness, anger, happiness at the thought of the Chandlice's being gone. And she knew it was difficult for the others too... What could they do... What should they do, now that everything that held them together was dead?

Lye was walking down the street, wiping the blood off his face. It was his, mostly, but it was all over, still, even though he washed most of it off. As he walked, Lye closed one nostril shut with his thumb and blew hard, shooting out a small wad of half-dried blood onto the concrete pavement. He then complimented it with a rather well-done spit, the spit itself being mostly blood than actual saliva. Lye grimaced as he still tasted the iron from his blood. He kept walking, at one point pulling out a shard of broken mirror and looked at it. He had a gash above his eye, his teeth were painted red in blood, and a nice trail of blood was drying under his nose. Lye put the shard away and began examining his hands. One of his hands was split open again from hitting one guy a bit too hard. The other hand was just plain swollen. Lye looked up and saw Chloe, wandering around again. Lye quickly hid his hands in his pockets, not wanting her to worry. He whistled loudly, like always when he called for attention, and walked up to her. He stood a full head above her, and his eyes were slitted in suspicion. "Monet, what're you doin'?" His Irish accent was slight, but still detectable, as was the anger and less so worry. Sure, she wasn't one of the youngest, but she was still one of the girls, which, in his mind, made her even more of a danger to outsiders. Lye was really protective when it came to the girls. Well, except for Bella. She was old enough to know what she was doing. Or, should.

Baby-Doll finished dancing and went up to the attic of the house where her room was. It had a single window, and an angled ceiling. She grabbed her i-pod, pulled on her blue jeans and jacket and went back downstairs. She walked to the front door and looked over the front yard. She took in a deep breath and began to stroll down the pathway. Her feet moved to the beat of Face Down by Rediscover.

_Tales of a Teenage Carousel_ Help, I have done it again. I have been here many times before. Hurt myself again today. And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame. The whistle at her came as a surprise, causing her to jump a little, moving into a defensive state in fear, but it was the Irish accent that she recognized that calmed her down. She knew it was Lye... And perhaps she was going crazy or just forgetting things, but it came as a surprise to her when he was suddenly so close after being so far down the walkway. "Huh? Oh... I was just... Thinking..." she said as she finally allowed her eyes to look to his face, where she saw what she figured she would see.
"What was it about this time...?" she asked him, her voice soft so that she wouldn't anger him in any way, but pressing, for she cared deeply about every member of the family... And even Lye, who seemed to have a tough outer shell which no one could break... Even he needed someone to care for him...

Lye smiled, a warming smile that could melt ice, and kissed Chloe's forehead, right on her hairline, like he did so many times with everyone else in the family. "Ah, just the usual. Bloody bastards tryin' to give me a hard time, and tryin' to drag our names through the mud. You know, the usual. C'mon, we need to count the earnings for today." Lye moved his head towards the house and walked over, seeing Bella walking, no dancing, down the pathway. As he walked by, he just plopped his hand down on her head, and kept walking. Lye then went to the kitchen where he emptied his pockets. Out on the counter spilled varying bills, coins, and other forms of money. Lye started counting, setting the money he counted to the side.

_Tales of a Teenage Carousel_ Help, I have done it again. I have been here many times before. Hurt myself again today. And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame. Chloe saw the smile, Lye's warm one, his friendly, in a way, loving one, and knew it would be alright. Or rather, it was not really a knowing, but rather, a feeling of contentedness. It was that effect that the smile had for every one, and it was no surprise here that she, too, had fallen for it. One day, when she no longer believed the spell of happiness that it wrapped her in, she would congratulate Lye for having such an ability... "Oh, I see," she said with a nod of her head, and though she smiled weakly, she still worried a bit. "You should still get cleaned up a little before every one else sees, okay?" she asked him, looking up at him.
Hearing his proposition, she nodded her head and followed after him, smiling gently as she passed by Bella, and continuing on and into the kitchen, where she pulled a cup of water from the fridge before she, too, sat down at the table. Turning out her own pockets, she added her own earnings to Lye's pile. "Look... I went out today for a little," she said with a smile, seemingly hoping for encouragement or support. After all, weren't they going to try to integrate into society? They would need to start somewhere, right? "I went to the park with my guitar," she added before she set to helping Lye count.
