Im playing therapist to my cousin...shes doing meth and coke and wants to stop but shes not sure she can.... I have no clue what to tell her other then stop or I'll beat her a**.... but I cant tell her that cause then she'll just get more upset... grrr

good god is right. You need to, Like sickness said, tell her everything that happened. I lost one of my friends to cocaine, he assulted a police officer and got shot.

Nathero expensive, crummy habbits, has she considered one of those clinics that helps you with that sort of thing...the title escapes me at the moment...-.-' if you need help beyond yourself for your own problem then you are definately ******** problem that stems from your own choices should be able to be handled by yourself. If it involves anyone else directly then i can see having them help...but other than that i think it is best to conquer the problem yourself....course thats jst my two cents and i have a warped reality of what should be and what shouldnt.....

Well in most cases, I'd agree. One should learn to cope with their own problems. Addictions are another matter, however.

If you really want to help, suggest she get to a rehab facility as quickly as possible. Or she could turn herself in to the police as a user, and they would probably send her there as well. The longer she waits to do something about it, the harder it'll be, but trust me, rehab is the best answer.

At first I just bull s**t with her and then I'll go off on a true story about some coke or meth user and then I'll tell her she should know shes better then then the person I told her about and that she knows she doesnt want to get as bad as the people I tell her about. Today I told her about my old friend who snorted so much coke that she got a hole in her nose and was proud of it and told her that she didnt want to walk around and proudly tell all her friends that used to respect her that she snorted so much coke it created a hole in her nose cause its not a thing to be proud of. I think after a few more e-mails like that she'll realize she doesnt want a life of being adicted to drugs that make her crazy.

Someone has a problem that is not just potentially life-threatening, but a problem that will kill her if something doesn't stop it. This person's life is in serious jeopardy, and people are saying things like 'hit her in the head!' and 'oh, she can't stop because she's not strong willed'. An addiction to methamphetamines is bad enough, but cocaine too? Not one person in this guild, on Gaia, or in the world could break out of a full-fledged addiction to cocaine without help. To even consider denying this person help for 'natural selection' to take place is not only insensitive, but naive, cold, and heartless. That's what that means.
