Naw, back when I was in band, the director was pretty cool. The assistant director was pretty funny, he was always full of sarcasm

xd lol our band director is a riot. he's not stupid, just hillarious. lol at the end of a competition one time we were standing around a track cushion while our one director talked to us about how we did and junk. anyways when he was dne talking he said to our other band director "ok Mr. Gumble u can do it now" then Gumble said "Yeeeaaah this is going to be the most epic thing ever!" then he runs forward and bellyflops on the track cushion XD

He is stupid, but I an never tell if it is in fact genuine stupidety or not.
Despite him being rude, stupid and sexist, he is rather hilarius.
Its funny just to see him being so hipocritical.

Yet when he stood in for the bass player for a few weeks, he sat staring at the music, with his head almost touching the paper lolz.

I wouldn't say mine's stupid, but if he gets even the slightest bit off topic, he tends to go on and on. He makes a lot of funny comments, but they usually pertain to whatever section just screwed up and made him cut off.
The director I had last year, though, was a completely different story. When it came to band, he's almost psychotic with how serious he is. Outside of band, he's probably the most laid back director we've got. He's sarcastic, funny, and even kind of crazy. And yes, he could be very stupid.

My band director isn't stupid, but he is funny. He will get very sarcastic in front of everyone, especially to the know it alls of the class. He also likes to bob his head [obnoxiously] to the music. He also tell lame pun jokes. But they are pretty amusing.
