Five years into the future, a new disease is taking over the world. people didn't take it seriously at first, thinking it was a dumb joke. but as the bodies piled up they could no longer deny the truth of it. this new disease, nicknamed the Z-virus, turned people into zombies. it took about a month for people to change totally. they'd have symptoms of fatigue and getting more sleep than they usually did. then their body would slowly start to age and at the very end they'd spout something catastrophic before totally becoming a zombie. what they said gradually came true and people started panicking. zombies were out for their body flesh and the world around them was falling apart. no one knew how to kill these undead, or couldn't bring themselves to kill their friend or family, allowing the virus to spread rampantly throughout the world. suddenly, five individuals were released into the world. Humans, that had been experimented on, the only successful "lab rats" to have their DNA altered. these five, called the Chosen, have abilities ,and knowledge on how to kill the zombies, and depending on how they decide to use their powers they could save the world from the ever spreading virus, or destroy the world all together.

-note-
just like regular zombies these don't have any brainpower so it might be kinda boring if you were playing a zombie. Though you can play a human that turns into a zombie^^

[[we're gonna start a little bit before the Chosen are released, ok?^^]]

Cassie woke up, she knew where she was. she was strapped onto the same table in the same laboratory, and there were seven other tables around her. three of the tables were currently empty. *so, they didn't make it huh?* a bright light shined into her eyes, making Cassie squint. then shadows fell over her. she knew the pain would soon come and she braced herself against it. a needle was inserted into he arm and she lost control of her body. she felt them, grabbing her roughly, not caring that they were hurting her in the slightest. she was simply a lab rat after all. they began poking her- hard- with their cold metal spokes. she felt her warm blood running off her body where they punctured her skin. she felt so dizzy, but the pain kept her anchored in reality. all the sounds were muffled, she couldn't tell what they were saying. then the poking stopped and she was left alone, bleeding. she felt small things being attached to her head and body. then she felt electricity pass through her body, it didn't hurt at first but then they asked her a question and the electricity shocked her. she screamed out the answer. she heard a grunt and another question was asked, another unbearable shock. she could smell her burnt hair, the smoke making its way to cover her face, she felt like she was going to suffocate. four more questions and they were done, moving onto the next person, but she knew that they'd be back, and Cassie slipped back into sleep.

An hour later and they came back. Cassie woke up to pain. but she felt uncontrollable rage build inside her. a vein bulged on her forehead as they injected her with the same drug, but her adrenaline flowed too thick in her veins by this time. she managed to wriggle out of the straps that held her fast to the table. the scientists fell backwards, over themselves, grappling for their sticks. they poked her, this time making gashes into her skin. Cassie calmed down and returned to her usual quiet self. she curled into a ball in an attempt to protect herself from the pain. Two brilliant black wings sprouted from her back and flapped at the scientists, batting them away. Cassie looked out and saw them cowering in the far corner. she flew over to a table to loosen the straps, holding the person to the table but then all her adrenaline drained out and she fainted, hitting her head on the table before landing on the floor.

Cassie came to with a horrible headache and she thought she was back on the table. but the "straps" were actually hands and she saw a face. she blinked a few times and then she remembered what had happened. she opened her mouth to say thank you but then she saw the scientists creeping u behind Julius. "Ah- behind you!" she yelled.

Cassie curled up again. she instantly felt extremely stupid. *he's protecting you you idiot!* she emerged and looked around the room for something useful. the others were waking up and escaping in various ways. she grabbed the first thing that looked somewhat helpful. a broken belt. she whirled it around int the air and smacked a few of the scientist on the face with the buckle part. she felt quite scared but there was also an excitement flowing throughout her.

"Umm.... not really." she replied shakily. "it shouldn't be too hard, though." she walked over to the glass door and tried it but it was locked. she looked around her and grabbed her table, which was on wheels. she ran with it towards the door and then let go before impact. the steel table shattered the glass and Cassie beamed at Julius. a scientist popped out of seemingly nowhere and she screamed, kicking the man. he crumpled to the floor. Cassie waved to Julius. "over here!" she yelled, pulling the table out of the way so that they could make their escape.

Cassie saw a glimpse of light coming from one of the doors down the hall and ran toward it. she smacked into the door, opening it and fell into the daylight outside. Cassie faltered, the sun was so bright, she covered her eyes and groaned. "I forgot how bright the sun was." she whispered, walking away from the door so that Julius could come out.
