My old HS band director when it was her first year of teaching, told the band if they got a superiour and 4 captions she would shave her head...she did. When she came to my JR. High to recrute for the next year I was scared of her baldness...
My current Director who is new this year, came from Alaska. He bribed his band in Alaska by whatever award they got he would pierce his ear for everytime they got it. I believe he had his ear pierced 6 times... He kept two, he has them now ^-^.

if we get superiors then we're allowed to toilet paper his house
and at practice he bribes us with water.....although he doesn't always come through with it razz
i'm sure that's the way with all the dedicated bands though

Our BD's give us bribes like "If we finish the show by Monday we'lll have Friday off "(psssssh, we get 1-2 fridays off a season) or "If you learn the next 10 sets in the hour, we'll let you go early" (yup, that never happened)

Our BD and Asst. BD bribe us with telling us to get sets done faster so we can go home (sometimes we did).
Also, he bribes me with instruments...>>
I play like...everything in that bandroom/closet.

for one set, i have to nearly latch onto a girl, and she's a really close friend of mine and every time i got close enough for my BD to like it, i'd end up tripping her and she'd get mad. he bribed me with $20 if i could run her over and still make my spot. needless to say, i did and he never paid me. D:
and the clarinets were going to dye their hair a color of the flutes' choosing if we won championships. we did, and we never told them what color, so none of them did it. and my drum major was going to go to school in her full band uniform. i don't think she did that either. geeze, people aren't good at keeping their word in my band. :/
