I'm not quite sure how to start this, but I'll have a go.

Those seeking help with perfecting:
Tachi
?

Should we conduct this like lessons in a classroom, or basic conversations to build vocabulary?

it's tough to do organized lessons. that's what the university for. as for conversations - we always converse... hmm... maybe some exercise, live practicing in english. like you giving us a mission that its purpose is to improve our english and then correct us after we execute it?

Should we leave this up anyway? In case we have some more verbally-challenged individuals enter the guild?

I just finished English Comp with a B+ (I would have gotten an A+ were it not for my crappy attendance.) I'm hip with the slang and colloquialisms as well.

Question: Do English people object to being called "British"? Do you prefer people of other nationalities refer to you as English?

Welsh are Welsh. Scottish are Scottish. Irish are Irish. Manx are Manx. Gibs are Gibs. Lucians are Lucians. And English are whatever the hell you want to call them, the b*stards.

Yet we're all British.

So it's the idea of a generalization? I would never call a Welsh British or any combination there of! But if you talk like Harry Potter, you're British in my book. xd
