((Okay, here's how this roleplay is going to work. This is entirely freestyle - I will come up with a storyline (and maybe get input from other people regarding this) as the people join and the action goes. Anything goes - anything. If your character dies, don't worry - I already know how to fix that in one way or another if you'd prefer that your character not be dead.
I might do two of these, and these details will be the exact same; although the other one might have a storyline already set to it.
Romance, sex (keep it PG13 though or whatever, y'know?), fighting (descriptive and non-descriptive (what the hell is non-descriptive fighting??) too), as well as dancing, singing (also karaoke-ing), and other stuff will be accepted. This is completely casual and should be treated as such.
Again. Anything goes. You don't even need to be in the same area as another person. Just make sure you don't flood the damned thing please, and try to keep trouble and spam to a minimum.
I would appreciate it if all of you tried your best to make this roleplay enjoyable, creative, and fun, as well as descriptive and detailed, without spamming the ******** out of everybody, kapishe? Lol. X) Good. ;P Now onwards with the fun!!! biggrin You'll find out I have a very high tolerance level by this point. ;P))
☼A young, caucasian human male with a heighth of a bit less than 6-feet stood standing on the deck of a large old-style ship made from ebony wood. It was still docked at Town Square, and he was currently examining the contents. It was sort of interesting. He felt like he needed to be here for some reason. They were just about to set sail. A long mahogany plank led up to the ship's deck from the dock.
It was currently a sunset, so the sky was a beautiful orange, which cast a yellow-ish gleam across the vast green sea which opened out into an ocean. Normally one from his own universe would think the area to smell of salty sea, but this smell was a bit different. It had a gooey smell to it - almost texture-like - or something. It was like a salty goo more than water. Yet it smelled thin. Well, the gooey part did anyway.
It was extremely odd.
Everybody here was used to it though - and they tended to enjoy it. They didn't really know about blue water.
The young man was clad in a large white t-shirt which flapped in the occasional breeze that wafted over the smell of the sea - which was also mixed with the smell of some different kinds of fish, to an extent. Whenever he would walk, his dark-blue, water-resistent, baggy sweatpants with the double white bars on either outter-side of both pant legs would swish and swash as his white sneakers with the triple dark-blue, slash-like marks, would 'thamp' 'thamp' on the floorboards of the ship.
It was a strong craft, and enormous too. Almost like it's own town. Which was odd. There weren't really any seperate buildings, and yet... He'd only explored the top-middle so far. From how it looked though - it was quite amazing - and different from what he was used to.
If someone from his universe saw this, they'd probably think he was high. Excuse me. They'd probably think THEY were high.
People - both furries, humans, in betweens, feather-ies, scalies, and the like - were currently bustling about in their designated areas, preparing to set sail as items were hurled aboard, while some were also carried. It was difficult being that there was only one way to get on, but it'd also be easier to sneak aboard because people were paying more attention to where they were going so as they didn't slip, rather than any potential stow-aways.
There was also the potential for stow-aways inside the crates and other such objects used to transport goods and materials, seeing as they weren't checked.
Unfortunately for Town Square, they'd brought more than they needed so as to accomodate any guests, as per Andrew's request. The boy thought he might've recognized a few of the people on deck. Maybe it was his imagination? He knew at least a few of them from seeing them in Town Square though, of course. Not all of them had their families with them though, he knew. Some of them were volunteers. It'd be difficult on the families.
Andrew hoped this journey and exploration would go smoothly. He'd carefully crafted a few portals in different areas that he actually couldn't really see into yet. He only had a vague glimpse at them. Such was the way of a creator. He just wanted to make sure he could get home every now and then. He'd also managed to put some under the water at sea and ocean. This could end up being a long trip.
The sun in the west caused him to squint his expressive blue/hazel eyes as he looked out at the great expanse that was Neko Forest which lied to the west of Town Square.
The slight, occasional breeze carressed his medium-length, messy/spikey brown hair as he looked on in awe.☼
((Alright, everybody else's turn. biggrin Don't get distracted by the length of this - nor the boringness of it please. X3 Lol. I'm just setting everything up. biggrin I'll give more details if you feel you need them later on as things around the area are explored, whether you're on the ship for one reason or another, or in the town. X) Try to keep things at a tolerable level though please. biggrin
And we'll also come up with a turn order (mainly for groups of people whose characters (or whatever they use) are together. Just remember to be creative and have fun. biggrin ))

Tasuki sighed as he sat back in his chair. He had finished making a sword for a sailor. He normally made money by thieving, but found the pickings slim lately and so decided to use his powers to his advantage. He was a black smith, but only when he felt like it. Tasuki wasn't the type to have a job, or have any type of schedule that held him back. So most were lucky if he decided to sell them a sword. Seeing that his abilities made things easier for him, he normally would craft them with great detail taking his time. He figured it was a hobby and kept him from getting bored. Where did he say we should meet up? He leaned back more causing the chair to stand up on only its back legs. He balanced himself as he rocked back and forth his feet resting on the edge of his fire place. 'The TS bar.' He sat up and grabbed the sword he had made and headed out to the bar. He had noticed that the bar was quite a hit with visitors, but the locals tended to stay away from it. He figured they had enough with travels seeing they came through all the time. He made his way through the streets, he glanced around occasionally noticing the new faces that passed him. He slowed and came to the bar entering it, he looked for the man. 'There you are.' He walked up and held up the sheath. 'Now I hope you have my payment.' He smirked as the sailor nodded and handed him a sack of money. Tasuki looked inside and felt a rush as he saw the amount of coins it held. 'Alright, a deal is a deal. Hope you enjoy it.' He handed the sword over to the man and smiled as he awed over it. This is just to easy. He gave a nod and turned to the bar. 'Beer.' He sat at the bar and waited as the bar tender went about her business.

TS Bar
☼As Tasuki would enter the bar, many people would look at his bleeding body with wonder and regard. Some thought it was awesome (especially some of the younger ones who were either there by themselves, or there with family, or there with their travel companion), while others thought it was gruesome. Some also thought it was a honorable and some even thought it was a burden. Not many were disgusted though.
The chairs and tables; although there were some booths with cushiony chairs, especially in the backs and corners for those dark, broody few customers and other people who enjoyed a shadowed area to keep to themselves - were made of mahogany and ebony, the cushions being made from a tough leather; although it was stuffed with scented guts from animals. All things must be used, they felt. And the exotic aroma was to help keep the stench of decomposition at bay; although a few may've enjoyed it.
Whatever that scent was, it sure was quite powerful - you definitely didn't want to go giving large sniffs to the seat cushions; although not much of it tended to leak out.
The stools were covered with the same kind of cushioning, which felt very soft and fluffy, despite the tough texture.
Every now and then the ring-a-ding of a bell would announce the start of a fight in the center ring, which almost always had a furry fighting against a traveller, warrior, knight, townsfolk (although there weren't many of them here), and other such guests and attendees.
Each and every time Tiger, as the furry was known, would win. It tended to be mainly the townsfolk who placed their bets on the furry, and won loads of gold and other such valuable items from the people who gambled; although there were a few smart ones here and there.
After every match Tiger would come over to the bar and get a few drinks of booze and other such liquor and alcoholic beverages. His eyes were blood-shot, heavily, and he seemed never to take a break, but he looked absolutely happy and enthralled to be alive - if not drunk.
The air was warm, inviting, and filled with foreign banter and rumors (both from the town and around the world as the travellers had seen so far), and talking, laughing, and just a merry old time (not to mention filled with the clanking of glass cups and other such items, as well as some people eating and such). Mainly happy and loving though. There didn't seem to be much, if any trouble going on.
It was a good place for young un's. Well, more or less.
As long as you had the money to pay, you were asked no questions - you would be given your choice of drink; although you were warned before-hand if you looked young. You needn't no ID or any such thing. Money was what talked here, and so long as you caused no trouble, you were kept in peace. It was a nice place to hang out.
Whether you drank or not was up to you, there weren't really any pressure except for the occasional group of peers that came in and caused a slight ruckus.
There were some waiters and waitresses, some furries and some human, and some other kinds of creatures. It was definitely an open place that didn't seem to hold much, if any prejudice. They just seemed happy. It felt like home.
In the north-west corner there was a set of stairs leading up to the second floor which housed the inn-section. The first two doors led to reserved rooms - the second being Andrew's. There were a few other rooms which were reserved as well, but you didn't tend to come on them much. Most, if not all of the rooms were locked anyway though so as to keep people out.
All in all it was a very good place to be and to rest at if you were weary. Thankfully for guests there were some spells and such placed on the ceiling so as not to let noise escape to the top floor.
The tender who worked on Tasuki's order was human, and quite lovely, and had given Tasuki a noticeable, sexy wink as though to suggest something.
Guess that's just her taste.
The cook who came out every now and then to check on things and whatnot was a furry - an inu-jin to be exact. A dog-origin creature.☼
((I'll explain more as time goes on and as things are explored, if you don't describe it yourself. ^,^ wink )

`The short-ish kid about an inch shorter than Andrew would already be seated at the bar when the newest arrival would show up. He was dressed in a white tee-shirt and a black leather trench coat, which wouldn't seem to odd, in fact, it was more likely that Tasuki wouldn't even notice him amongst the slight crowd of people, some males, some females, some furries, a little of everything, that would be standing around his seat, talking incoherently amongst themselves. That wouldn't matter to him, but the bleeding, injured guest had caught his eye. Siting casually, probably a little relaxed, his black leather combat boots against the bar, leaving his stool on only two legs as they pushed back.` Hey mac! `He would yell sorta loudly back at the cook, avoiding the waitress.` Fetch me a glass of wine, some garlic, and some parsley. `The cook, kind of annoyed that that wasn't even remotely close to his name, would smile at him and nod. Then the man would smile back leaning forwards against the bar, his arms crossed as he spread a black cloth, a bandanna, across the counter, the small crowd that lingered in his corner ceasing their chatter to look at him awkwardly as he waited for the order.`

Tasuki was caught by surprise at the bar tenders wink and just smirked. As he sat he noticed the odd feeling and stench the bar had been giving off and stood up looking at his stool. What the hell is this? He looked disgusted and decided to stand leaning against the counter instead of sitting. He turned looking out to the ring and crowd and noticed that a few had been staring at him. He gave them a stern look and soon came to realize that he had forgotten about his wrappings. 'Damn it.' He mumbled to himself once he noticed that it was time for some new bandages. He sighed, not believing that he had forgotten about them. They didn't hurt as much as they looked like they did. He figured he would just clean the wounds out and bandage them when he returned to his house. When Tasuki turned he found his beer waiting in front of him. The frosty mug looked delicious, he could feel his mouth become dry. He grabbed it and began to drink from it when he noticed the man sitting beside him. He caught his attention once yelling out to the cook. He raised an eyebrow as the chef seemed annoyed by the man's words. He figured that they weren't friends, and that he was either drunk already or slightly insane as he asked for a few random items. He watched slightly as he sipped at his beer. His curiosity started to get the best of him and he turned to the fellow. 'What are you doing?' He gave a slight head nod to the items that he had laid out before him.

`He would look to the man next to him, a small, lingering crowd around him lingering akwardly. His almost solid red eyes would peer to the mans face, but would avoid eye contact. He would smile as he saw that what he had asked for where already on the table. His head would raise, long black straight hair that covered the majority of his almost pale skin before would slide down the sides of his face. His eyes looking to the man, even though his face-side was twords him.` Nothing interesting, Why do you ask? `His hands would not fumble as they spread garlic, then parsley over the top of his clean black bandanna. Then he would take a sip of the red wine.` Tasuki, is it? `He would look down at the not-so-clean-anymore bandanna and shatter the top of the wine glass on it, sending a shattering sound across the room, what remains of the wine quickly soaking into the bandanna, which would eventually leave the counter clean, aside from the glass.`

He looked away from the man as he sipped from his mug and stared ahead at the large row of wine and beer bottles that lined the bar tender's wall. 'Just curious I suppose..' His eyes shot over to the counter as he shattered the wine bottle. Tasuki was unsure what he was up to and was beginning to get a little nervous. 'How did you know my name?' He scanned over the man as if suspicious.

`He would pick up the bandanna, which looked dry now, and stuff it in his pocket, his eyes looking over to Tasuki, once again, face, but no eye contact.` Iunno, you seem to talk alot, it must of... slipped out.... `An obvious lie, even though he was a good liar. The Bartender would come by, and take what was left of the glass, the handle and base, looking down, eyes shaded by her hair, and not seeming to be in the same flirty mood she was in when she talked to you, she asked nothing and waked away, a crowd still lingering over us, now surrounding us as they watched our conversation, of what was of it that was going on. He would look away from you, and look down.` More wine please, red. `Mac would nod and quickly escort the glass to the bar counter.` Twisted Turnip He looked away from the man as he sipped from his mug and stared ahead at the large row of wine and beer bottles that lined the bar tender's wall. He was becoming more wary of the man as they talked. Tasuki was beginning to notice that he never quite made eye contact, something a thief or a person with some sort of secret would do. He looked away and noticed his mug was gone and sighed. He really didn't have any room to talk. He did his fair share of thieving in his time, and still did it on occasions. He dug into his pocket and pulled out his money and placed it on the counter for the bar tender and turned looking over the crowd once more. He was beginning to scan the crowd noticing the large amount of diversity. I need some entertainment. He was getting tired of hiding in his house so often. But was unsure what there was to do. He just watched content with resting against the counter. He decided once he grew bored he would travel else where.

`He would look at his watch and lean back again, his boots pushing against the bar counter, two stool legs separating themselves from the floor, his eyes quickly glancing up to yours before moving away.` Tasuki, I take it you dont come here often. `He would lick his lips and grab his wine glass, taking a sip, he would glance back at the crowd, they would dissipate, the people crowded around us would find seats somewhere else, a few would leave the bar entirely.`

¢And then the passage would be made clear.¢ "Whoever enters the tournament and wins gets free rite of passage aboard the S.S. Explorer! And you even get to decide the name of the ship. We have three openings right now - the fourth has been taken. Tiger is the one who awaits you at the prize for glory. Tiger is your last fight!! If you can win against him, you also may take a friend with you, and you get a life-time supply of Sniggers - the best drink this side of Town Square!!! Well, non-alcoholic anyway." ¢The man in the middle of the kick-boxing arena sounded a lot like a pitch salesman. It was definitely entertaining though.¢ Twisted Turnip He was becoming more wary of the man as they talked. Tasuki glanced over. 'Is it that obvious?' He smirked and faced the man as he leaned against the counted with his elbow. 'What is your name.' He figured if the stranger knew his, then it was only fair that he knew his as well. He put a hand through his fiery red hair and looked back up. His hair fell back down and looked as if it was untouched. He wondered if the stranger came here often.
