The Run-Down So, I'm getting this going a little late this year. Sorry about that, but December kinda snuck up on me. Price brackets are based on what people actually signed up for in previous years, but they can be discussed if there is enough interest in people wanting to spend more or less. To sign up, just say you'd like to participate and tell me which price bracket to put you in. The deadline for sign-up is December 18, so I can get everybody assigned a person in time for the holidays. The Question The Answer So most people have these pods of people called family and friends that they like to spend the holidays with. In person or some such. I guess it's a social thing. Anywho... I imagine that some of you will not be online on the big day, which I imagine is the 25th for most of you. So, would it be preferable to set the present-sending day to the 24th or the 26th? Or possibly even later?Because it is fairly unanimous that the gift-giving date should be set earlier rather than later, but some people have get-togethers on Christmas Eve, presents should be sent out on the 23rd. Bracket 2: 10,000 - 25,000 Gold

I'd rather the 24th. It'd be nice to give the present early or on time, to spark the holiday spirit before Christmas is over. Even though we're just "online friends" we're still friends!
If that's a rough date for most people, how about the 23rd?
Also, I put a vote in for 1-5K, just in case I'm still broke by the 18th or other people feel the same. (We'll see how many zOMG rings and recipes I can sell off.) But I'm pretty optimistic that I can make at least 5K in two weeks, so for now, I'll sign up for bracket 1. :]

I'd put in a vote for 1-5k if I were participating, too. I'm a cheapass like that. I considered going farming in Village Greens with some low level rings and sending a screw to everybody on my friendslist, just because the description would make that so hilarious to me... But I'd feel really bad if somebody saw I sent them a present and rushed out to buy me something of actual value before opening it and realizing it was a gag gift. rofl

It's already working - I had to pause for a second after I saw, "sending a screw to everybody..." 4laugh
Ah, speaking of making at least 5K by the 18th one of my recipes just sold for 8K in the Marketplace. Looks like I'm good to go!

Haha. I'll go for the 1-5k and possibly higher. I would do more if I weren't a quest right now (And I'm already enrolled in another Secret Santa.) gah.
But I can make that easily in the MP anyway. The 1st bracket is cool for me.
Haha...screw.

Pasta - Well, of course I had to fix it. I felt so bad that I screwed up in the first place! I'm just glad you were so understanding about it all.
reddy - Haha. Yeah. I don't think we're going to be able to run any other brackets. Unless some of you want to break off and do a 1-5k bracket, as there seemed to be a good deal of interest in one. We'd need three people at least. Preferably four. 3nodding
All - So, does everybody else think the 24th is good? Aivi is the only one who has actually expressed an opinion one way or the other, so I'm guessing the rest of you agree or don't mind either way?

Well...I won't be able to be on on the 24th 'cause that's when my family gets together, but I'd prefer before Christmas instead of after. The 23rd sounds like a good date to me.

I'm not going anywhere special for Christmas since I couldn't get out of work, so I'll be able to send gifts whenever - the 23rd or 24th are both fine by me.
