The game is now supported by advertising and will help promote the the upcoming film of the same name. Originally released in 2004, The Suffering is a survival-horror game that garnered pretty positive reviews -- 7.6/10 from Gamespot and 8.5/10 from IGN for instance.

In celebration of the 13th Anniversary of the Command & Conquer franchise and the release of Red Alert 3, Electronic Arts has made Command & Conquer: Red Alert available for free! Step this way for the download and installation instructions. For those of you who haven't played Red Alert before, it's a real time strategy game for the PC that let's you play as either the Allies or Soviets in a fictional World War 2 storyline.
Trackmania Nations Forever
Here's a fun freebie that is sure to fuel procrastination everywhere! You can download Trackmania Nations Forever, a PC racing game, for free! The game features over 65 tracks, single and multiplayer modes, an in-game editor to create your own tracks, video studio to realize your own movies and a paint shop to customize your vehicles, and official ladders for solo and multiplayer play. It weighs in at about 500 megabytes and can be downloaded directly from FileFront here or via Steam.
For those that would ask, the Steam version is Starforce free, and the internets appear to be adamant that all versions of Trackmania Nations Forever are now stripped of the troubled copy protection software.
