And yeah, it didn't get popular here in the US quickly 'cause we were all going crazy upset over Kennedy's assassination (which is a more important, of course). sad

OMG, I can not believe I missed the date entirely . . . Maybe I actually have a life? rofl rofl rofl
BTW, my parents were married in '63, I was born in '68, which makes me only 5 years younger than the Doctor eek . Didn't see the show 'till '83, though. Tom Baker (Doc 4) repeats in the US.
Funny thing was, I never knew there was more than one Doctor until like a year later, when someone was watching some Peter Davison (Doc 5) ep., and I said, "Dude, that's not Doctor Who, that's that drunk vet student from All Creatures Great and Small!" lol
