Apologies first! I apologise for not venturing in here for ages. I apologise if you don't talk neopets in here anymore. I apologise if you are sick of talking about new neohomes.
Ok apologies aside...
My son and I have been setting up a new style neohome and I find it way better than the old style except for the obvious fact that there are hardly any items you can use in the new style and the neoitems site doesn't have the little icon next to items so I never know if they are useable or not until I go back to the neopets site.
Anyway, I have seen some items I really want (mostly trees, hehehe) in the featured homes but I don't know what they are called. Does anyone know of a way to find out what the items are called when you see them in a featured home? Thanks and sorry for being a nuisance.

Hmm. And how come I see some plushies in some new homes??? I haven't found a plushie with the new neohome icon next to it.

I only looked into new neohomes once when they were fairly new, and I haven't kept up much with what can and can't be added, but since new things are being changed all the time, I suspect that's why neoitems doesn't try to keep up with it.
I know there's a way to see what items are called, but I can't do it predictably. I know when I was first shopping for things, I looked at spotlights to get ideas for items, and just now when I tried, I got it to show me a talk bubble with the picture of the item and the name Red Trampoline in it, but I couldn't get the bubble to go away so I could look at another item, and the bubble even stayed there when I went to look inside the neohome! So I don't know if it's a mouseover or click thing, but there are glitches with it.
As for the plushies, are you sure it wasn't a plushie version of a neopet that you could put in there? It could have been some weird old advent item that goes in neohomes, as I've seen some unexpected things go in there, but as far as I knew, regular plushies can't go in, unless it was a temporary glitch. If you see the neohome spotlight with them in there, link it here so we can see what you're seeing!
And I'd still like to know, but haven't heard, if it's ok to make new neohomes on side accounts since it gives you a starter kit of furniture that could potentially be sold.

Pixie, you should go to JellyNeo.net and look up the items that can be placed into the new ones. Also remember that they are converting old Neohome items all the time.
Other than that, I really can't help because I'm not totally crazy about the new NeoHomes--I don't like only having one room to work with, and haven't played with them all that much.

One of these days I'm going to have to start looking at what I want to do with my Neohome. I think I might make it an extension of my gallery.

I'm getting so angry because some games have a high score of say 18000 and my high score is say 800. There's some cheating going on somewhere!!!
I just want a trophy, any trophy will do.
So if anyone wants to vote for my customisations, I would be sooooo grateful. I have entered two of my son's pets...Acari29 and WoofWoof29.

Any trophy, you say? There are trophies that don't require you to be on a high score list, like pyramids, solitaire, neoquest, go go go, cheat, poker, cellblock, kacheekers, and maybe some others.

Agh! All four pets just got cricky neck!!! Of course there were no neck braces in the pharmacy so I had to pay 50k for one from a shop and once I cured the first pet the brace was gone. Obviously a once only use. le sigh
This is what son gets for having four pets. Maybe there'll be a neck brace in the pharmacy tomorrow. I'll have to keep refreshing.

Just keep visiting the Healing Springs in Faerieland. The faerie there will cure your pets for FREE, it just might take a few visits.
