Rain drenched the City of New Hope until it looked like it was a washout of silver and white. A few dedicated merchants waited beside their stores in the bazaar, but most opted for the safety of cottages, tents, and taverns. It was odd for it to rain like this. Normally, the citizens of New Hope were greeted with delightful showers that lasted the entire day. These fast and sometimes violent downpours were unlike any the town had ever seen.

Some people said it was because of King Silverwind’s current emotional state. Indeed, the weather did seem to reflect what the ruler was experiencing. His half brother, which was the ruler of the Wastelands, was approaching the border of Bell Shire at an alarming rate with a large a fierce looking army.

The Dwarven city of Burran had successfully held the army off, but it wouldn’t be long before they officially broke the ranks of the King’s men.
It was known that Vahn Shadowbaine already had a few spies and warriors that had slipped through the borders. Things were not looking well for the Kingdom of Bell Shire. Lightening cracked off in the distance and a tall tree burst into flames. The smoke billowed upwards and as the quick but dangerous storm lifted, hung over New Hope.

Chapter One: The Songstress of Storms

The Witch’s Hat, the local tavern, buzzed with talk. Worried excitement hung to the air like humidity. King Silverwind had sent out a royal decree. The decree stated that recent intelligence reports spoke of a woman in the Forest that was just outside of New Hope. This woman was a Dark Druid and was believed to be the source of the irrational weather. The decree begged that the people of New Hope gather together in small groups to defeat this problem and although the King had a few personal scouts to check the forest, all of his soldiers were on the front lines. There was going to be a reward too. The Dark Druid was also suspected to be in the same league as Vahn Shadowbaine.

The owner, a young hobbit, shook her head and wiped a mug clean with a pristine white rag. Business would certainly boom for her. Taverns were the meeting places for people to come together and join forces. And with this decree, there would be MANY people looking to join parties to serve the King.

Races of Bell Shire:

Humans
Elves
Half Elves
Dark Elves
Halflings
Dwarves
Orcs
Nymphs
Nekos

Classes of Bell Shire

Warriors: Skilled Fighters that are experts in using heavy weapons and wearing heavy armour. They can mow down enemies with a single stroke but unfortunately they are very slow and almost clumsy to disaster.

Monk: A highly disciplined fighter that uses hand-to-hand combat or light weapons to deal devastating blows. They aren't too physically strong, but their true power lies in their speed.

Ranger: A person who makes hunting a game. They are masters with bows and with short swords. They can also track a person or animal very well and they can move almost silently through the forest. Their stats are equal.

Thief: An expert pickpocket, they can steal the panties from a 90-year-old Orc. They are also skilled in detecting traps and picking locks. They are fairly intelligent and very charming and they are extremely flexible and have excellent dexterity.

Summoner: A spell caster that can call upon creatures depending on their personality. For example, a lewd person would Summon and Succubus and a sorrowful person will summon a Poe. Like all spell casters their physical strength and defence is rather low, but they have EXTREMELY high intelligence

Black Mage: This person will be skilled in elemental spells, hexes, curses, and soul possessions. They use staffs as weapons because their mana is quickly used up.

White Mage: Unlike the Black Mage, the White Mage works on healing and protecting other party members and exorcisms. Like the Black Mage they use mana quickly and uses as staff as a weapon.

Witch: A witch can see into the future via dreams. They also are able to create powerful potions and elixirs. They have more common sense then your common spell caster and they are a little stronger as well. They also have a Familiar animal that travels with them and will fight for them in battle.

Characters:

Osaya Cert
Name: Sauda Servia.
Age: 150.
Gender: Female.
Race: Elf.
Class: Thief.
Physical Description: Sauda is tanned, with short, light brown hair. Her hair falls into her face slightly as if it were bangs, but they only come across one eye. Her eyes are dark brown as are the leather wrist bands she wears on her slender wrists. A cloth shirt lays beneath a very dirty, white leather jerkin with two straps near the top. Her shoulders are covered by light green, leather shoulderpads. Her legs are covered by a thin cloth which are underneath a pair of doeskin leggings, which are tucked into a pair of light, doeskin boots.
Strengths: Pick-pocketing and bluffing.
Weaknesses: Bright places.
Weapon: Two daggers strapped to her leather belt.
Persona: Sauda is rather cold at first, but once she begins to trust you she becomes quite the character. She has a good sense of humour and enjoys making people laugh, even if it's to the displeasure of others.
Phobias: Pain and cages.
Bio: When Sauda was born, her mother was not like most elven maidens. She threw her into a golden cage most of the time and would torture her mentally. Eventually, Sauda learned to pick the lock and would get out in the middle of the night, and escape to whatever places she could get to. By the time of her 50th birthday, Sauda became fed up with her mothers' outrages and killed her mercilessly and then ran off. She became a wanted criminal but came to New Hope searching for a...ironically...new hope and life.

Kalon_Ordona_II
Name: Chälan Urdhuna
Age: unknown--they don't keep track. more than 200
Gender: male
Race: Nymph
Class: Black Mage
Physical Description: Chälan is roughly six feet tall, slender, graceful and poised, with blue eyes and a bluish tint to his clammy skin, and his white hair falls to just past his shoulder blades. He wears elaborate silks in shades of blue: undergarments, trousers, tunic, coat and sash; he walks barefoot.
Strengths: water magic, e.s.p., precision, intelligence
Weaknesses: fire, ice, physical attacks, sympathetic pain, ignorance
Weapon: water magic, platinum dagger
Persona: venerates nature, open mind; moods can change easily, sometimes cold to people at first.
Phobias: fire, ice, close spaces
Bio: As one of the oldest of his family, Chälan Urdhuna has been chosen to go and help turn the tide of darkness that threatens their clan's forest, some miles from New Hope. Chälan has been outside of their woods more than most of his family, but that is still not very often. He is ignorant of many customs and traditions of other races, and speaks with a thick accent. Still, he is a very quick learner, wise in years and sharp of mind.
Chälan has heard the decree from King Silverwind concerning the Dark Druid inside the Forest next to New Hope, and considers this a prime first step for his mission. He is on the lookout for a party to join in New Hope to answer the king's call.

Riiko777
Name: Tania
Age: 37, though she appears merely 18 (though often acts younger)
Gender: Female
Race: Neko
Class: Thief
Physical Description: Tania
Strengths: She can see well in the dark, is extremely flexible and dextrous, can jump higher than the average human, has sharp hearing, and has a cheerful outlook.
Weaknesses: She doesn't trust easy (though you'd never know it), she is sometimes too outgoing, which often gets her into trouble. Because of the persecution she was shown in early life by humans, she sometimes finds herself slipping into disdain when one [human] appears, and can sometimes be proud, haughty, and overconfident. She also has a short temper.
Weapon of choice: Claws
Secondary weapon: Twin Sai
Persona: Daring and outgoing, mischievous. She appears open and friendly, and is usually easy to get along with, though she conceals much behind her mask of cheer, never fully giving all her trust to anyone. She's extremely generous to those in need.
Phobias: Water, Orcs
Bio: ((It's... rather long... here's a summary: She grows up in the slums, learns thievery from an old, cunning thief and because of her skills as a neko, soon becomes the most feared and untraceable thief in the whole city--Stealth, by name. No one knows her race, gender, face or apperance. The only thing ever found of her is a single thread of yarn. She had to leave the city eventually so that her parents wouldn't have to live knowing that she was the one called Stealth. So, she left, eventually finding the king's decree, and heading for the City of New Hope. But you can read the extended version if you want.))

Tania was born and raised in the slums of a large and bustling city. Her family parents were contentedly wedded, but were very poor. Because of their race, they had been named outcast and banished to the slums, where they lived among all the other cutthroats, beggars, thieves, and other rabble.
Their home consisted of an old, run-down shack that the others hadn't dared to claim because of the rumor of its last occupant--found mysteriously dead one morning. He had been a kind man, with no enemies, no visible sickness, and had held nothing of any value at all. Talk of ghosts and spirits had grown and spread, and since the inhabitants of this particular city were, by nature, highly superstitious folk, none dared enter.
Tania's parents were not so superstitious, and had nowhere else to go. Food was hard to come by, and the shack was small and leaked in several places. But somehow... they were happy.
The other children in the slums avoided Tania because of her race. This was a cause of great sadness for her for a time, though she found later that with enough persistence and cheer, most anyone would not shy from her for long. She was extremely stubborn and pursued after challenges with vigor and energy. Soon enough, not a single child in all the slums strayed from calling her 'friend'. The children's parents objected at first, but Tania's cheerful and persistent nature eventually won them over, as well.
Mischievous by nature, Tania was always getting into trouble. No one could bear to stay angry with her for long though, due to her irresistible nature.
It wasn't until her younger sister was born that Tania decided that something needed to be done about their situation of survival. Food was scarce. They were lucky if they got one meager meal every two days, at the least. Gold and silver were dreams never obtained. So, the thought came to Tania in a manner such as this; 'The rich people have more than they need, and care nothing for us. They like to pretend we don't even exist! So, how could it be wrong for someone who doesn't even exist to take what they need from those who can afford it?'
She never told her family what she planned. She found a thief in the slums who was growing old, and willing to pass on his knowledge to her (mostly because she wouldn't leave him alone until he did--his threats didn't scare her, either. She had seen too much to be afraid anymore). He was a cunning character, full of tricks and wily ways. He taught her how to get what she wanted without ever being seen or heard. He taught her how to cover up any trace of her presence and how to use weapons.
Because of her skills as a neko, what she learned from the thief was far excelled in skill and dexterity, silence and agility, sight and sound.
And thus she became Stealth, and none, no matter how skilled, were able to find a single trace of her after her thieving escapades... save for a small thread of yarn--her calling card. Untraceable. It was like laughing in their faces. Yarn was too common to be able to trace to anyone specific. It was always a different color, and she only touched it with her gloved hands.
So, the city became her playground. The people her helpless victims. Like mice in a cage. when donning the persona of Stealth, she became cruel, cold as ice, and hard as steel. None could ever guess that the cheerful, outgoing and clumsy Tania could ever be the same.
Tania soon learned that fighting with her natural claws was the best method she had learned as of yet. She did like using daggers when the reach of her claws failed though, or when she wanted a throwing object. And so she adopted the Twin Sai--stolen, of course, from the most famous craftsman in the city. And they were indeed fine weapons.
Years of thievery, untraced. No one even knew which race the thief, Stealth was, let alone the gender, face or appearance. Except her parents. And for their sakes... Tania knew she would have to leave. They abhorred lying and thievery. She was their daughter, and their love for her was the only thing holding them back from turning her in. But they couldn't keep going on like this, knowing that she was the one called Stealth, the nightmare roaming freely through their city. She could see it in their eyes. And so, one night... she just left. She left a note to her family, telling them they wouldn't have to worry about her anymore--that she would be safe. Just not there.
It wasn't long after this that she found the King's Decree from the City of New Hope. It was an intriguing request. It gave her a purpose to move on. And so she arrives...

Osaya Cert
Name: Marlo Mashyna
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Class: Witch
Physical Description: Marlo has short pixie hair that differs in colour from the light. At certain times, it is a dark brown with red highlights, and others, it is blonde with brown highlights. He is five feet and nine inches tall, is particularily slender, and has dark brown eyes. He generally wears a dark red robe that covers his entire body and the contents of his being, in the hidden pockets. He also wears a set of lenses upon the bridge of his slender nose.
Strengths: Potions
Weaknesses: His future predictions are muddled at times
Weapon: Two daggers that he keeps hidden in the folds of his cloak and a familiar
Persona: Marlo has much more common sense and intelligence than your average magic user. He is easily drawn into activites and adventures and can immediately trust someone, as long as his familiar, Tyr, doesn't growl at that particular person.
Phobias: Defeat and death
Bio: Marlo was one of the very few of his fourteen brothers and twelve sisters that made it through any sort of education at all. Being the middle-child, he was greatly ignored by his family except for the youngest brother, who simply adored him. Most of his siblings died in a plague that had swept through his small village, while he was away training. He came back and he only had two brothers and three sisters left, and his father. Then, he left, seeing he was no longer really needed to help with the household; the younger ones died first and the ones that remained were old enough to take care of themselves.

Tally Tachibana
Name: Aruka Zu
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Race: Nymph
Class: Witch
Physical Description: Aruka has choppy short light brown hair with a long side braid which is blond, her eyes are (right) blue, and (left) green.
Strengths: Water, wood, wind, and fire
Weaknesses: Darkness and my strong feelings about friends (i would sacrifice the world for them)
Weapon: Metal claws crafted by myself with the ability to withstand intense heat and eight assassin's knives in holsters on my forearms, biceps, thighs, and calves, also my familiar; Kyuuki- a large white german sheperd
Persona: Happy go lucky, very emotional, and carefree at some times, but when she knows she becomes calm, emotionless, cruel, and merciless
Phobias: Heights, tight spaces, dark, death, loneliness, and being hated by everyone
Bio: When I was a small nymph I wandered many times, that is how I met my familiar; Kyuuki. I was wandering one day when I found a lost puppy, Kyuuki, I adopted and raised him. Later, when I was a more experienced witch, I crafted a speaking potion for him. Now he can speak. He is a beautiful white German Sheperd who loves to chase nymphs, all but me.

Kalon_Ordona_II
Names: Dalzughorond and Meruzhengra
Ages: Dalin is 49; Merin is 45
Genders: Dalin is male; Merin is female
Races: both are Dwarves
Classes: both are Warriors
Physical Descriptions: Dalin and Merin are between 4' and 4'5" tall. Both have dark hair and dark eyes.
Dalin wears chainmail beneath siked ebon plate armor, with the rest of his clothing made up of layers of linen, leather and furs; a travel cloak is worn over all. Dalin wears his beard neat and trimmed.
Merin wears a fur-lined battle dress marked with the emblem of their clan. She has sturdy leather boots and special gloves with an improved grip. Merin has a pair of wide metal clasps for her long hair, both to hold it together and to keep it weighed down so that it doesn't fly about.
Strengths: Both have impressive physical strength, and can wield their over-large weapons with unsettling ease. Merin, especially, is deceptively fast, because of her lack of armor. They make friends--and enemies--easily.
Weaknesses: Their lack of height often puts them at a disadvantage. They sometimes don't realize when they're being pushy.
Weapons: Dalin has a huge axe with a razor-sharp edge. Merin has two weapons: a short sword in a sheath on her back--which she hardly gets a chance to use, and her main weapon, a double-bladed greatsword--'greatsword' for a dwarf, at least.
Personas: Both are always looking for a challenge. They do things largely for the fun of it. The two usually all over each other, like birds in springtime.
Phobias: Dalin is creeped out by Dark-elves, is put off by insects and snakes, and has a phobia about rivers. Merin is uncomfortable in open places like plains or deserts, and is frightened of lightning.
Bio: Dalin and Merin are an unusual couple. Most dwarves do not seek romance until a two or three years before they turn fifty, and do not marry until their fiftieth year. Dalin and Merin are not married, but they betrothed themselves to each other and have been so ever since. Even as children they were inseparable.
Since the dwarven custom is to go out into the world adventuring between twenty-five and fifty years old, Dalin and Merin are simply living the dream together until it's time to settle down.
They are bounty-hunters, mercenaries, 'good samaritans', thrill-seekers and adventurers, all in one big lovey-dovey package.

Tally Tachibana
Name: Hope Jay (prefers Burr)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Half-elf
Class: Thief
Physical Description: Burr has dark brown/black hair that is short and chopped. His eyes are icey but he is not blind, although lots of people think so. He wears hsi scarf everywhere he goes.
Strengths: Burr can slip through almost every situation, he's light hearted and can take any insult.
Weaknesses: Burr is afraid of tight closed off spaces.
Weapon: Eight assassin's knives along with a lock picking set and his dragon katana.
Persona: Burr is harsh and pitiless, but when it comes to children and the unfourtunate he can't resist showing a little smile.
Phobias: Closed in tight spaces.
Bio: Burr was born in a small town, he doesn't know his father because he soon left after helping to set up his son and his human wife. Burr grew up with his mother and has developed a sort of girlish alter-ego.

Night was falling in New Hope. The rain had started again, the heavy downpour had been on and off for days. All along the cobbled streets, people had taken to shelter, trying to wait out another quick storm.

One figure, though, stood all alone in the street, his face to the sky. He breathed in the rain with the air. He let the water soak his clothes and skin. He stood thus, unmoving and with an unfading, wistful smile, from the time the rain started to the time it finally poured out its last drops.

As people began coming out from under tents, awnings and roofs, Chälan took a deep breath and lowered his head. He took a moment to focus his thoughts and call upon his power, then uttered a spell in his language. "Naeí dan Allaerra hath lli dëáthras ennalë dhin lli sethaen." Immediately the water in his clothing went into his body, leaving the silken garments completely dry. Other magicians might not have let themselves get wet in the first place, but Chälan was a nymph--all that water was better than a day of rest.

During his brief time in New Hope so far, Chälan had seen few other nymphs. The few he had seen were mostly younger women from other forests. As a rule, nymphs are unfriendly toward any of their kind who are not part of their own clan. Clans keep to themselves, guarding and giving life to their part of the world.

At present, Chälan was looking for the local tavern--the Witch's Hat, he'd eventually gathered. He was contemplating whether or not it would be a good idea to try to get directions from someone. He finally decided the more practice he had dealing with people, the better.

He approached the first person he came across. It was a merchant who was re-opening his booth. "Ser, ud... yi... derecht i... dhe uitshes hat?" He pointed at the merchant, then in different directions in quick sequence, then at himself, and then he mimed a tall pointy hat over his head.

The merchant blinked a couple of times, slowly. Then, "Ohhh! I see. It's the Witch's Hat you be looking for, eh? Seen the king's decree, have you then? Well..." He pointed diagonally over the nymph's right shoulder. "Just head that way and you'll come to it before very long. Hard to miss, the Witch's Hat is."

Chälan only understood half what he said, but he got the message. At least he knew how to express gratitude. With a quick smile and a nod of the head he said, "Lli thanchss, ser." He couldn't yet say 'my' properly, so he'd used his own language for that word instead. The merchant nodded in return, and the nymph turned and walked down the street the man had indicated. Chälan almost felt as if he were a child again, learning the ways of the forest. It was an odd feeling, at once both irritating and intriguing.

He would have to work on his accent, though. He had to be able to communicate well with whoever he ended up working with. The Urdhuna clan was counting on him.

Sauda sat on a old, wooden chair, watching the rain fall outside. It was becoming dark, which was her favourite time of day. Many people had been coming to the Witch's Hat upon seeing the King's Decree and she was one of the many mysterious adventurers.
"What will ye be 'avin' ta drink?" the young hobbit tavernowner asked her.
Sauda only shook her head and smiled, waving her hand in a dismissive gesture.
"Ya sure? We've got fine ale from all over," she pressed again.
"No, thank you," Sauda said. There was a slight trace of Elvish in her voice, and the hobbit didn't trail too long on it, and went about to others.
She let out a long sigh and saw someone heading towards the tavern and his clothes were dry, even though it had been a heavy downpour. Interesting... she mused silently to herself, and didn't take her eyes away for a second, but tried to remain inconspicuous.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 15, 2008 4:52 pm

Chälan looked up. A black wooden sign in the shape of wide-brimmed, conical hat hung near the door of the windowy building before him. The nymph smiled in triumph for a moment, then opened the door and walked in.

The tavern was warm. Quite warm. Chälan looked over to one side, beheld the great fireplace, and out of reflex took a step in the opposite direction. "Ha chyánda dhän hiéna nanndë deth Irrien," he muttered, frowning, to himself, wishing a blight on all houses of fire. It was hard to take his eyes off the dancing flames, even as he walked toward the bar.

"Will there be anythin' I can get for you this evening, sir?" came a small voice. The nymph managed to wrench his eyes away from the fireplace. He was just in time to look a young hobbit in the eye as she sized him up and added, "glass of springwater, maybe?"

He smiled, appreciating the offer, but said "Nuh thanch...kh... yi." He instinctively shied away from making the 'k' sound--his throat didn't want any part of making 'k', it seemed--but he'd made the effort anyway.

"A-righty, then. I'll be about. Here about the King's Decree, are you, then? Just ask around and you'll find plenty of folks as'd be int'rested. Might as well start with the lady there." She indicated the elf woman next to Chälan, then went about her business. As she passed the elf, she shook her head at her in sport and sighed, as if no-thank-yous were contagious. Chälan didn't understand any of that, but he wasn't going to make an idiot of himself trying to find out.

While the elf woman next to him was exchanging looks with the hobbit, Chälan took in the elf's tan skin, her long ears, her short, brown hair, and the traveled elfin clothing that covered her lithe frame. "Serathel..." he half whispered to himself. Nymphs, like elves, have a special affinity for beautiful things. And both nymphs and elves are innately beautiful in themselves. Although, elves had a sort of beauty different from the innocence Chälan was used to in his own kind. It was more... cunning... more independent.

When the hobbit had gone, Chälan took her advice and asked the elf, "Ar yi hir..." he couldn't say 'f's yet either, "...dhe khinch's dechrii?" Why did human language have to have so many 'k's in it? He shook his head, then switched to an old dialect of elvish, which he knew better. "Tell it to me, I beg, maiden, do you wait in this place so that you might answer the..." he thought of a word, "...Great Ruler's behest?"

((Sorry for the delay friend.))

Sauda turned in surprise to the language that the nypmh had spoken, not having heard it for many years. "That I do. What is it I may do for you?" she asked, her voice a melody, with slight humour. From the corner of her dark eyes, she looked to the table where three men were huddled close togther, talking quietly.
"Pitiful," she mumbled human language and went back to regarding the man before her. I wonder what his profession may be? Sauda thought to herself.
PostPosted: Fri Dec 19, 2008 10:32 pm

Chälan was pleased that he could still remember enough elvish to communicate smoothly, if perhaps somewhat archaically.

"Then, it appears, we are in this place on common purpose," he responded, smiling. "Would you think it well to join together, and so forge a surer, swifter victory against the... Great Ruler's... enemy?" He still didn't know how to say 'king,' but he knew 'great ruler' meant 'great ruler' in human language, and that was as close as he could get.

The problem with elvish, he was steadily realizing, was that it took a long time to say anything. Hidden meanings were everywhere, so you had to qualify most everything you said.

All the same, it was infinitely preferable to the nymph's human language nightmare. He knew human words quite well; that wasn't the problem. It was just that he couldn't yet say them properly. Working with an elf would certainly help to ease the process of familiarizing himself with the outside world.

And, come to that, Chälan's intuition told him there was something special about this elf in particular. He hadn't met many elves recently, so he had absolutely no idea what. Just... something. He could feel it in his humors.

"That we are," she agreed and smiled. "If you are for joining together, than let it be so. What are your skills my friend?" Sauda eyed him suspiciously, but in a friendly way, trying to sum up the difference between herself and the stranger. She was a thief, and she quite enjoyed being one, but she was always wary of magic-users and this particular man seemed like one.
Besides, if he was not an elf and he knew elfin, he must be a magic-user of some kind.

"The power of the nymphs is strong in my blood," said Chälan. "Even so, however, I cannot yet make Earth and Wind hear my words. When I am away from my home, only Water obeys my commands."

Chälan had made that discovery long ago, when he first set foot outside of his forest. Inside, the trees and all living things drank from the waters of his birth. But outside, he no longer had the mastery. His affinity was for Water. Others were of Earth, some of Wind. Because of his element, Chälan could still control Water.

At first he tried to think of ways to claim the loyalty of the elements over a wider distance from home, but he soon gave up when he went back to the forest. Now his mind was running down those old paths again. He had to believe it was possible. The true power of nymphs was that of Life, where Earth, Water and Wind combined in harmony. Without the other Elements, it was as if the weaker eye was thrust out and the weaker hand, cut off.

But Chälan still had his strong hand. Water was no weak ally.

Chälan realized suddenly that he'd been too long in thought. He tried to think of something else to say to the elf, to avoid an awkward silence.

She probably thought he was a Black Mage. Technically, Chälan supposed he would be classified as one, but he didn't like to think of himself that way. Black Mages used Fire and Ice. And sometimes Stone. Forces of Death. It was both a comfort and an affront that they used the other elements as well. Also interesting that many human Black Mages used old elvish for their spells.

Of course, none of that made for good small talk.

Introductions! Of course. That was more appropriate conversation. "The time is well," he said--an ambiguous elvish idiom. "Since it it is that we two will be working together, I ought certainly to introduce myself." He placed a hand on his chest. "Chälan Urdhuna, who dwells in a wood to the faraway north and west of this place."

Nymph! That would explain the white hair, Sauda thought to herself eagerly. I've never worked with a nymph before. And one with such powers either. A black mage perhaps for the power of water... She moved a stray stand of brown hair from her tanned face and smiled at Chalan.
"I am Sauda Servia, who once dwelled in the forests to the south," she replied, placing a closed fist over her heart. A sign from the elves. "Well, if no more introductions are needed at this moment, I say we should start off on our adventure. Unless you are in need of dire refreshments?"
