I'm putting some temporary dye in my hair right now to see what black would look like in it, because I'm getting my hair cut and dyed soon, and want to know what color to go with. I've obviously no real subject material to talk about.

Don't go all the way black! whee
If you do permanent black color then it won't ever fade out. If you hate and want to go lighter again then you'll have to bleach it and there's a good chance your hair could turn orange. And that's almost harder to get rid of than the black.
Permanent haircolor is usually graded on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the darkest. I would start out with at least a 2 instead of a 1, just to see if you like it that dark.[/cosmetologyclassspeaking]
I'm getting my hair colored Monday at school, kind of a medium reddish brown. Very autumn-y.
