You can't really have a "bad" language name. But keep a few things in mind:
-Impossible to pronounce names are difficult to remember and put some people off.
-Names that could be mistaken for profanity or "inappropriate" words can be funny but risky.
-Typically, a language name is derived from the name of the country, region, ethnicity/race, or other geosociopolitical delineation. This may also work backwards, such as the name of the country meaning "Land of the People who speak (Language)" or the people's ethnicity word meaning "people who speak (Language)" but this isn't very common in real languages.
So, yeah, that's a good name for a language.

Is the "E" at the end pronounced like Shlanks-er, or Shlanks-y?

Go with what Xeigrich says on this one.
Sure it's a good name.

I'm thinking of re-naming my conlang because even though the current name does mean something in the conlang, it doesn't really give a good representation of the essence and sound of it. The name happened to be composed of two words that sound outside the typical sound of the langauge....and I want my conlang name to sound right.
