well, they do look cute. But seriously, it can get cold! Take health first, not cuteness.

Sphinx cats are not visually attractive to me, but the ones I have met were very sweet! They actually feel like fine velvet. They have a little peach fuzz. Some of them even have a little hair around their heads and feet. I thought they would feel weird or gross, but they are actually very nice. But they do require extra care (frequent baths and ear cleaning) and must be protected from sun (they can burn) and cold.

Of course I take health first, but Sphynx cats are born bald. :3 Some owners shave their cats, but honestly I can't see why they would do that.

Some cats (particularly ones that are human hand raised) do not learn to groom properly and/or if the owners cannot keep up with coat maintenance, they may need to be shaved. The shaving is either for ease or to remove mats that have developed and are unhealthy for the cats. I have also shaved some cats because if they were not shaved they developed bad hairball problems. But the VAST majority of cats do not need to be shaved and should have their natural coats.

I bet it feels weird, like being naked to them, we have clothes, they have furr. hehe sweatdrop
