Lil bitty Amber is gonna be a big sister, small as she is! I just got back from the doctor, and due date is June 24th.

I wasn't expecting another so soon, but it's good news; I'm just dreading the nausea, which has already kicked in. They told me to wait at least a year and a half after having a c-section to let my body completely heal, and Amber's exactly 18 months, so my body must KNOW!

Yeah, my mom had no idea we were wanting another one either, so when I told her, she barely responded, and I wondered if she heard me, and later she started talking about demographics and how for a family of 5, we should be making $20k per person, so $100k. Plus, I remember when we were younger and I wanted her to have another baby, she said 2 was enough because it replaces yourself and your spouse, and any more than that would contribute to overpopulation. But she said congratulations, and I think I just surprised her.

We didn't think it would happen again so soon, considering Jade took 2 years and Amber took another 5 years. But I think 3's my limit, and I'm trying to brave the horrible nausea, and I'm fortunate that it comes and goes and isn't constant so I can have a break and let time pass, but when I'm feeling it, every second drags and I feel like I'll never get through it!

I knew a woman who wanted two kids, and she had triplets the second time! And they were huge too! All three between 6'7" and 6'11".

I always thought I wanted 3 or 4 kids, but the 4 kids thing depended on whether I had twins one of the times. I definitely don't think I could deal with a fourth pregnancy!

My best friend had removable clips put on her tubes many years ago because she had her two kids at 19 and 20 and didn't want any more after that. She wound up having a hysterectomy earlier this year from too many period problems too. Jason's ok with me having the clips put on (although he asked if it was reversible!) as he doesn't want to be the one getting fixed!

Butterfly, i know that my mom had her tubes tied and still had a period every month, so I imagine the clips will be the same thing.

Unlike what we are under the impression of, our period isn't really the egg--that tends to be dissolved if it's not fertilized. Our period is the extra uterus lining, which is triggered by the release of the egg. If no baby implants, then we dont' need that extra lining.

I think my friend's period problems were completely unrelated to the tube clips. Her mom and her aunt both had early hysterectomies too.
