I was a beta too. I only played it once though. Wasn't the greatest in my opinion and other things grabbed my attention more.

from what I remember, Clans are similar to guilds, but are for Beta. Like a bunch of people who like to play together can form a clan. I think they have and area to talk and stuff like guilds do too... ninja

It's probably because you all go into it thinking it's an MMO like Guild Wars, Maple Story, WoW, ect. It's not a true MM0. It's not an hardcore MM0.
I's casual.
Meaning: meant to be played for a few minutes at a time or maybe a few hours. The only thing that isn't 'great' about it is the lag because it's beta and the name. and getting ganked by gnomes. But once you twink your rings out and take down the OMFG and other such bosses, let me know if you think it 'sucks'...
