I swear there is always something hapening between 5:30am and 6:00am every morning thats loud enough to wake me up. The garbage truck came at 5am, after that my mom and her husband started talking hella loud, then this lost parot thats been hanging around our apartments starts flying around near my window screeching, and then my neighbor runs out onto his balcony which is right next to ours and right near my room, and he starts throwing up obnoixiously loud. Like he was seriously pukeing 10 times louder then ANYONE Ive ever heard throwing up, and I was tempted to go out on the balcony look over to his and ask why he wasnt inside using the toilet or a puke pot. He lives alone, not like the bathrooms being used by anyone else, why did he need to come share his upset stomach with all of his neighbors? I didnt want to hear him upchucking. After his 5 minutes of pukeing my mom decides at 6am to turn her radio on soooo fricken loud that I could hear it through the walls crystal clear. Then the cats start meowing to be let out, and meanwhile my boyfriend is sound asleep right next to me not hearing a thing. How can people sleep through all that noise?

Im an insomniac too. If I dont have something to sedate me before bed I sit up til 3 or 4 in the morning. Even if Ive only had like 2 or 3 hours sleep and am hella tired, I just cant sleep. What really sucks is because of my mom having a history of abusing prescription narcotics(basicly taking waaayyy too many pills at one time) my doctors wont give me anything to help go to sleep. Even when I was going through chemo and couldnt sleep they wouldnt give me anything, which isnt fair, I cant believe Im accually going to be a nurse and work for the damn hospital system that screwed me over.

My late husband used to sleep like that. We used to joke that if The Big Earthquake hit during the night, centered right under our house, he'd sleep right through it and wake up in the morning amid the rubble saying "I had the weirdest dream...."

That's how I used to be when I was younger. I used to be the one sleeping through the awful thunderstorms that woke up the rest of the neighborhood, and I'd have a great night of sleep. mrgreen

I wish i wuz like your bf....i cant sleep with that kind of persistant noise....it pisses me off and then i wake up all mad and scream and holler at the dogs and then i let them outside and go back to bed a leave them out there...then im woken up a few hours later by them bitching to be let back in.....it sucks....thats why i stoped sleeping on the couch in the living room and sleep in my room on the other end of the house now.
