What was once the most frowned upon division in football is looking to be the second best division.
Tampa Bay- 4-2
Atlanta- 4-2
Carolina- 4-2
New Orleans- 3-3
I'm looking for a hard fought battle to the Playoffs from this division.

Im kinda looking for the Falcons winning the Divison, and Tampa to get Wildcard.

Tampa has a very strong defense, and already smacked Atlanta around once this year, and tamed the Panthers last week. Their running game is looking very good and they've got a passing game that will keep eight out of the box.

Bucs take the South.

Although they are at the bottom right now, Im gonna go with the Saints, their record says nothing as of now, they are a great time, they have an awesome QB and maybe not so great receivers, but seems like Brees makes it easy for everyone, they just have to focus more and avoid mistakes like they did against the Vikings... I still cant believe they lost that game confused

Saints they have there running back Reggie Bush a nice O-line and reciever. Drew Bree's is doing really good this year Saints all the way.

The Saints have a great offensive, but the defense is awful. You can't win games on offense alone, you must have a defense. Plus Reggie Bush isn't a very good runner. He's a great receiver, but he still has a lot to learn. The Bucs have all of it.

A very good and competitive division in football, that is getting even better.

...If I'd have to pick a winner now, it would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They may not be the flashiest of these teams, but they are getting it done on the ground by rushing and by defense. They have a very solid defense and a good combo with Graham and Dunn. The main obstacle, though, could be the last of prime receivers (especially with Galloway injured yet again).

We might even see a wild card team pop out from this division. I'm not sure whether I'd be the Panthers or Saints, but I don't see the Falcons keeping up to pace in the next few weeks.

I would love to see the Saints go all out!
its hard for me to choose who will stay on top, but I think it would be Tampa Bay.
Carolina just feels a little to iffy for me, I think they can't hold it up to long. . .but I could be wrong.

Yeah, Tampa Bay should win this division, because of a great run game and very good defense.

Carolina, New Orleans, and Atlanta all have iffy defenses.

I think New Orleans Saints.

I think New Orleans Saints.

They have an explosive offense with Brees and Bush leading the way. Their offensive line hasn't been too good. The Saints have a pretty good special teams especially with Bush returning punts. I just don't think that the Saints have the defense to win the division. They give up too many big plays and do not contain.

The Falcons are starting to become like a real NFL team. They are starting to gain momentum as they are progressing through the season, and with the win over Chicago, they are certainly one of the best underated teams in the NFL. Matt Ryan is certainly one the best Rookies so far this year. Micheal Turner is also doing well and i think the Division will end like this:
1. Atlanta Falcons (12-4)
2. New Orleans Saints (11-5)
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5)
4. Carolina Panthers (10-5)

I am an NFC South expert lol. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers should win the division at no less than 12-4 this year, an dmake a long run in the playoff's, possiably making the superbowl. Tampa is way better than most would have thought. Week 1 vs the Saints was a weird game to say the least. Throught history Tampa hasnt done well wekk 1 of the season anyways. The lats time Tampa lost to the Saints week 1...we won the superbowl. Tampa is going to keep rolling, and now Garcia is forced to play at a higher level to keep his job. With the power run game, the ability to throw a long bomb down feild and catch a defense off guard, and one of the best D's in the NFL i say that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the NFC South and get a first round bye in the playoffs.

I also think that the Buccaneers will win the AFC South, but I don't think they can get to a 12-4 record in such a tough division. As we have seen so far this season, the home team in these divisional matchups usually win.

When did Tampa move to the AFC? xd What you have said is true, but the divison is strong yet weak at the same time. Tampa and Carolina are the only two teams that arnt going to fall off. ATL will at some point, an dthe saints are looking at a tough 4 weeks without Bush. Tampa is 12-4 at the worst. I'm hopeing for 14-2. It will be interesting.
