I'm confused. The TOS clearly states PG-13. And yet, they give us an R Rated movie, which I note, should have been rated NC-17 due to the amounts of nudity. At least, for the time it was released.
So, what's this say for Gaia's Admins and their intentions?
Do they intend on focusing more on the adults and young adults of Gaia, rather than the kids?
Or are they just putting it up because they can, only to have to take it down in a few days because little Johnny wasn't supposed to see boobies on the internet?
Any bets?

From what I gather, the ToS refer to : Sexual harassment Strong Sexual content of posts Vulgar name-calling Excessively vulgar language that offends people- this includes ANY racial slurs
And violence is not considered violation of ToS which is the worst part of this movie. And I saw the original movie and don't remember that much nudity.

ToS or not, the site is supposed to be rated PG-13. xd So anything that doesn't have that rating is supposed to be a violation.

Maybe we should just ask them about, just don't be snotty about it. They hate that.

Did you watch the one they put up? I posted my message directly after watching it.
They're the same. Now, mind you, I absolutely loved the movie the first time, and this time actually satisfied a craving to see it (especially considering I just finished the book it was based upon a few days ago).
I think it's going to end up being taken down, as much as I don't want it to happen.

The movie sucks anyway.
They should get the rights to Roughnecks: The Starship Trooper chronicles, which is it's better 'kiddie' counterpart.
At least the TV one's got Skinnie's in it!

Neither are that accurate to the book, though, but yeah, Roughneck Chronicles was badass.

Aerin Turner Neither are that accurate to the book, though, but yeah, Roughneck Chronicles was badass. Aerin I think I luff you mate! I didn't know anyone else had seen Roughnecks, I was a big fan (Gotta love T'Phai!). But no, neither is very accurate to the book but at least the series has proper power suits. *nod nod*

Not entirely. The MI only wore the power armor, not the combat suits the Roughnecks had, or the armor the MI in the movie wore. And then there's the Marauder Suits in Roughnecks, which were close, but still not there. They were way more powerful. And looked like some mechanized 9 foot tall ape.
Even still, Roughnecks was awesome. Used to get up early to watch it.

The admins know what they are doing, guys. If it's here, they put it here and they know the contents. And let's be honest- how many users, regardless of being under 17 or not, have seen the movie? I would say most have!

*Decides to copy Aerin*
And Phoenix, I agree with Aerin too, make you own conclusions from things, don't be swayed by what everyone else thinks and says to the degree that you avoid something.
