I just got that as well (through e-mail) and I really am glad I read it, it explained a lot of things and kind of closed the gap between what happened and where Blink is now.
It seems like a lot of things hinted at family being a reason for their break-up and interviews threw that in Tom's direction...it makes sense that it was his choice but it's really sad he hasn't talked to either of the band members in such a long time. Either way, I can't wait for the film, then.

*Raises eyebrow* Okay, no offense, and I'm really sad that they broke up, but am I the only one that thinks Tom is just a wee bit cocky? I mean, to call Pink Floyd, U2, and the Police "little bands," is pretty, uh... Arrogant, as far as I'm concerned. Like I said, I love Blink, and I love Angels and Airwaves, but, come on. sweatdrop Rolling Stone magazine gave that album a rating of fair/good, so I don't think they're going to do as well as he seems to think.
